Why is android so bad that you can't even play YouTube in the background without it autopausing?

I'd imagine that's down to the browser you use.

For 250 € you can get a sapphire 380x. Why would you buy a 960 for 250 €?
Also cash out 10 more € and buy a corsair 100R case.
PSU is too much, but I guess it's okay for future proofing?
>>52364351
actually that's just because i'm used to Nvidia, never had anything different
plus i wanted to get everything on amazon and the 380x is 280€ (i'm a yuropoor)
>>52364376
I would highly recommend you to branch out from amazon for that. Where are you from? In Germany/Austria you can get the 380x for 220-230 for the XFX version and 250 for the Sapphire version.
I would never give 250 € for a 960 since even a normal r9 380 is stronger then a 960.
Nvida BTFO: faked Pascal board edition
http://semiaccurate.com/2016/01/11/nvidia-pascal-over-a-year-ahead-of-1416nm-competition/
>That silicon was manufactured in mid-January of 2015!!! Everyone including the author was assuming that Pascal didn’t even tape out until Q3 of 2015
>Those WW3/2015 date codes mean Nvidia had to tape their Pascal designs out in late 2014, even before the TSMC process was ready for such tapeouts much less stable. The Nvidia designers were obviously so good and so far ahead of the game that they were able to put out a design that worked so well out of the box that even on an unstable, some go so far as to say non-existent, process it worked on the A1 stepping. Not only that it worked so well that once TSMC stabilized the 16FF+ process months after Nvidia produced their Pascals, no update to the GPUs were even needed! Imagine that, so many critical PDK updates from TSMC and none managed to do any better than those plucky geniuses at Nvidia could get quarters before. That is a commanding lead if there ever was one, simply staggering process tech.
>It all has to be true because as an executive in a publicly traded company with press and analysts who cover and trade Nvidia in the room, he is obliged by the SEC to be truthful. The only other explanation is that he knowingly lied to the press and analysts and showed a fake card in his keynote, something that would clearly be illegal. Jen-Hsun would never do something like that, right?

There are three ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Dual-boot Linux with Windows/Mac (recommend if you want to learn more about Linux)
4) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with Linux (not...

first for my wife's son
I'm currently building up a portfolio of the websites I designed to get hired. Is it a good idea to add a few software projects to my portfolio as well? I have two almost finished, and rather big software projects. One is in C, and the other one is in Python.
Should I abandon these projects and focus solely on website back end and front end programming? Or should I finish them, and add them to my portfolio? Why and why not?
http://phpsadness.com/
So, like, why don't you use C# or Go, anon?
>>52364059
All of the above? Pretty much the more work you have to show the better, although maybe finish the website first since (dunno about you) I hate having a broken website, feels like I'm releasing dodgy software.
