Genius or average dude who got lucky?
Good businessman. Everybody else does the work and he takes the credit.

I'd lean toward the latter. I've watched interviews with him, there's nothing about him that strikes me as a 'genius'. That's not to downplay his achievements though
Much luckier than the other South Africans.

Alright everyone, I will soon be starting webhosting in Switzerland (I plan to add VPS, VPN, Jabber/chat/younameit and storage services as well, by the end of this year).
It may look like I'm trying to sell you my products but it's not the case (the company isn't even running yet). In fact, what I'm doing now is letting you know that in the near future everyone on this planet will have access to a service provider that is true to its customers, no bullshit.
For instance, you have Gandi in France but recent laws have been adopted in there which...

Try harder, the goyim aren't this stupid
Companies fuck over customers because it gives them an advantage. If you don't, you'll find the competition shoving you out.
Good luck.

Go OpenBSD with dwm or go home.

Any good smartphones under 150$ exclusively for camera use?
>>52416904
Sorry, under 200$
>>52416904
well by camera standards no smartphone is a particularly good camera. If all you want is a camera, $200 will get you a used DSLR with its kit lens.
Maybe some used Lumia 1020
Ok /g/, I'm at a loss. /sqt/ was no help so I'm making this thread. Every single time my PC wakes up from sleep/boots up my processor's clock speed goes up from 3.4 GHz to 3.7 GHz and the voltage goes up to 1.325 from 1.2125.
I think this happened because of me tinkering with it in AMD Overdrive, because it looks to be happening because of Turbo Core. Problem is, uninstalling Overdrive or disabling turbo core only fixes the problem until the computer goes to sleep again. Any ideas on what could be happening? I never fucked with my clock speed or voltage...

Thanks, will report back once I've finished.
i use everything until it breaks and rarely upgrade and gigabyte is the only manufacturer who builds things that never go out.
>tfw using 8 year old gigabyte mainboard
>tfw the 10 year old GFX sold to a friend is working up until today
all asus boards i had never went for longer than 4 years
did you ever have a gigabyte product go defect over time?
>>52416863
Gigabyte has no fan control
>>52417377
so?
I've has great experiences using most manufacturers.
I've used Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock and ASUS.
My ancient ASRock 939 board still works like new.
The only problem I had was with a ASUS HD4850.

Lets talk about piracy
How possible is it to obtain a device that records HDMI input? Wouldn't that make ripping media from services like Netflix a walk in the park? Why isn't this being done right now by everyone?
It's encrypted.
There was a new 'unbreakable ' DRM that failed and that was cracked last September.
People always find a way.
You can't due to HDCP or whatever
>>52416467
You're talking about unauthorized copying, NOT piracy.

I am going to build a gaming rig but wish to economize a bit with the mobo in my build. I have an EVGA FTW 970, i5 6600K and 16GB DDR4 RAM. I thought of buying an MSI Gaming Z170 M3 but wish to know of there arw any better options. Overclocking is on the table but doubt I will use SLI in the near future. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you, beforehand.
buy nothing with gaming in the.name
i personally fancy gigabytes z170x gaming 7 and asus maximus viii hero.
the gaming 7 has a great onboard audio solution by using creative's sound core chipset and has two m.2 slots.
the viii hero is just an overall great overclocking motherboard with a great audio solution (really asus did a great job with their alc1150 implementation) and asus has been pumping out bios updates every month to fix shit. asus fan bios fan control is also virtually the best in the market and has been for some time.
i personally have the viii hero and love it. been very stable and works great with my rip jaws v though if the gaming 7 was in stock when i got my viii hero i might of went with it for the slightly cheaper price, the extra m.2 slot, and sound core.

hey /g/, what ide would you recommend for python/c++ that has an integrated terminal? I've been using kate but it's ugly and buggy as shit on Ubuntu. I like kate because i can hit f8 and move between my terminal and work and if i don't have a second screen, i'm more productive. Suggestions welcome.
