>>52443980
It was shit.

It's a low powered phone with a tiny screen that you wear on your head. And it cost 1500. Not worth it for the novelty
People didn't want the literal death of privacy.;
only amd could make a 32W quad core ARM chip

Does it at least have the level of performance you'd expect from such a chip?
>>52443950
it's supposedly "better than Atom, not as good as xeon D"
>>52443965
well that narrows it down

I got my new yagi in the mail today. Set it up, and just sniped a 100% link with -51dBm signal strength. Transmitting 72 Mbps, receiving 55 Mbps.
Internet speed caps at just about 30/35 Mbps. Latency is not too bad, we will see how the network handles throughout the day.
In my optimism I just ordered a repeater, so I can distribute my sniped signal to my other devices for main internet usage. Might even cancel my paid wired connection if it works out well, and rely on the sniped signal and mobile data.
So why?
Do you think it's cool or people will be impressed when they find out you're a thief?
>>52443630
I gotta set up a bi quad antenna myself and point it at the either the rich neighborhood to my east or to the gated one right next to me, will surely grab a good network.
Have any of you guys any experience with this kit?
Haier buys General Electric's appliance division for $5.4 billion
http://ca.reuters.com/article/businessNews/idCAKCN0UT0AG
Thus ends GE's involvement in the consumer space (GE's consumer electronics division was sold off long ago).
They still have an assembly plant where I live. It used to employ thousands but now I don't think many people still work there. No doubt they'll shut it down for good now. So much for American jobs.
>>52443557
That's what happens when you make quality stuff in America.
I still own:
>25 year old tv
>13 year old refrigerator
>15 year old washer/dryer combo
How are they supposed to make money when their stuff lasts forever?
>>52443592
>>52443557
Honestly makes me fucking salty
Like unbelievably salty. My parents lost their job when fucking Whirlpool bought out Maytag and shut down the plant.
Whirlpool was allowed to do this because General Electric was considered fucking competition in the home appliance market.
Now fucking General Electric the ONE OTHER SINGLE COMPANY THAT HAD A PLANT IN THE USA is going to fucking shut down.
Fuck American Oligopoly Plutocracy I...
