Not sure if this is the right thread but I need help with my phone settings.
I have a zenfone and everytime I open a folder, the apps are displayed in full screen.
How do I make the folder not display in fullscreen but like pic related?
Upgrade to iOS, OP. Oh, that's right.

check your launcher's settings or just download nova from play store
>>55459992
By using another launcher like Nova which has a lot of customization.
Looking to upgrade my phone a iphone 4S.
Asking for a recommendation iphone 6S or Galaxy S7?
>inb4 applefag
Be objective /g/, iphones are pretty good and they have more software on the App store
I had a cheap android phone before, and I liked the customizability of Android, but I ran into a crippling memory glitch that prevented using SD cards and crashed Android often. I'm concerned about glitched and spywayre, but that was on Kit Kat. I want something stable.
If you're accustomed to a smaller screen, don't get a big phone and ruin yourself for small screens.
If you can swing the price, get an iPhone SE.

I'm looking for good build quality and battery life. Do Galaxy's have comparable battery life to iphone6S ?
I know what I am talking about. I flashed Cynagen Mod onto my old phone. If I did get a Galaxy, is there a better version to install than stock Samsung Android?
>>55459777
iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5se, Iphone 6.
^Android Phones are shit.
I'm asking this as a technological question and not a political one:
FBI director James Comey said that they were unable to determine if Hillary Clinton's private server was hacked.
1. Is it possible to determine if a server was hacked?
2. Do you think the FBI would be able to determine this?
>>55459643
Most likely you could figure out if it was if you did proper logging of traffic
>>55459643
define "hacked"

As in someone hacked into her email and read or copied them

I've been seeing people talking about how REALLY bad Norton is lately.
If you are reading this and are one of those people that thinks Norton is bad, explain why please. Also post what AV is better. (hopefully free)
I personally have never really had any problem with Norton other than the occasional false positive and inability to exclude files.
Also, take this wallpaper.
AVs have been bad for a decade and a half now.
I forgot to mention I really FUCKING hate Norton Security Suite's UI now.
I'm not really opposed to tossing it, but since I get it for free from comcast... eh idk.
Another wallpaper.

Is there any advantage to using MongoDB over postgreSQL? (or no-sql vs sql)
I'm learning Node.js and can see that using mongo for a single language implementation would be ideal, however this this is hardly an advantage.
hipster cred.
if you're using node.js, you absolutely should use mongodb since there is no other reason to use any of those
>single language implementation
what?
its not written in js, there are mongo libs for node sure, but there are libs for postgre too which have pretty much the same interface
NoSQL was a meme and lots of people are paying the price today.
>256GB 230$

who here thought the extra 56GB is worth an extra 150$?
HOW GOY CAN YOU BE?

Have you actually checked the specs beyond DUDE GIGBYTES LMAO
>not storing everything in the cloud
ok grandpa
The 256GB microsd card has 90MB/s write speed and uses V-NAND used on the Samsung 950 Pro SSD.
That 200GB Sandisk card only has a write speed of ~20MB/s.
Anyway the reason that 256GB microsd card is so expensive is because Samsung wanted to go balls out with the most 1337 write/read speeds they could cram in a tiny microsd card.
It will go down in price soon though. I can see it going for $150 on black friday.
Non-techie here,
I'm doing computer spring cleaning. I've put everything to do with my ex (photos, other files) as well as stuff associated with that time in one folder. I just want to put it on an SD card and put it in storage. Obviously I want to password protect it, but it's just an ordinary SD card. I've got Windows 10 Home so no BitLocker (and no I'm not upgrading for this shit).
So to basically protect the whole folder, would a .zip/.7z with a password be enough, or am I gonna have to do some Truecrypt shit? It's very unlikely that...

password protected winrar archive with filenames encrypted option
>>55459785
Don't do this, OP. Winrar sucks. An encrypted 7zip archive is just as good and can also encrypt filenames.
Will we ever reach a point when android won't lag anymore or is it doomed no matter what?
I mean some android phones have up to 6gb of ram nowadays and octacore processors. Do you think in a few years hardware improvements will make android fast, stable and smooth as ios?
Is android fucked no matter what hardware you use?
>>55459319
Galaxy s7 edge doesn't lag.
I have the OnePlus 3, and there is no app lag whatsoever. Animation lag though, that's a different story.
>>55459319
Android could have a i7 processor, 12gb of ram and a Nvidia Titan and yet ios would destroy it with 3gb of ram, Intel HD graphics and a dual core processor.
DUDE
Completely pointless. Get a 6700k, this barely outperforms it.

sooo the amd's boys finally realized they won't compete perf wise? hahaaha love the damage control. what do you guys think they will be saying once perf / $ of the 1060 is going to be superior to the rx480? my bet is on

Are you saying the performance numbers nvidia released are wrong, or the price numbers nvidia released are wrong?
What do you use to carry your laptop and stuff?
A backpack? A laptop briefcase? A geeky messenger bag?
What would you recommend me to buy. I'm looking for something like das keyboard hackshield backpack, but it is obviously overpriced and I don't need that hackbullshit.
