does anyone on /g/ have any machine-generated music, like fractal music, they enjoy?
I'll start

#include <stdio.h>
#include <math.h>
int main(a,b,e,l,s,o,n){
for(a=-1;;)for(n=pow(1.06,"`cW`g[`cgcg[eYcb^bV^eW^be^bVecb^"[++a&31]+(a&64)/21),b=999;b;
putchar(128+((8191&l)>b?0:b/8)-((8191&(e+=n))*b-->>16)))l+=a&1?s/2:(s=a&6?s:n/4);}
pipe the output to your soundcard

Is it possible to get a good/okay quality used laptop for around $100?
>>52460214
t60
Yes, a ThinkPad.
>>52460214
It really depends on what you plan on using it for.
Which inexpensive and useful technology items did you order from Aliexpress, eBay, DX, Banggood, Tinydeal etc. recently?
I can't even remember the last time I bought something actually useful from those chinese shops.
My $7 arduino clone shorted out
my $5 mechanical skeleton watch broke
my $3 safety razor rusted itself through the nickel coating
usb sd card reader couldn't maintain a USB connection for longer than 10 seconds at a time
i could go on
This DIY oscilloscope, only 200khz bandwidth but it's ok.
Nothing you datamining piece of shit
Useless tec thread?
I mean, who comes up with this crap?
bad ass, link?
looks cute
Apparently it actually worked somewhat but I can't imagine it worked well enough to actually sell.

After using 10 for a few months on my desktop, 10.
Still prefer 7 on my laptop though.

Would using x86bit over x64bit be a good option when dealing with hardware that has less than 4GB of RAM?

With that little RAM you'd be better off with 32-bit. You will just end up running out of RAM before you see any performance improvements.
>>52459390
That's the feeling I'm getting.
I was hoping to see some benchmarks of performance between the 2 from a website or something but I haven't been able to find anything that would help my claim.
Hoping to see some more people agree with you or something before burning a new USB and reinstalling.
Bumpin'
I bought the BlackBerry Classic yesterday because I wanted a phone with a physical keyboard and it was the only one I liked when it comes to design (Passport and Priv look ugly imo).
I heard that BlackBerry will no longer manufacture BB10 devices. They said that they will still work on the OS but who knows for how long?
Also androids apps run very poorly on the Classic. OneNote is the only android app I need, but I can live with that.
Should I return the Classic and buy a windows phone (I won't buy android or iOS), or should I just keep it?
No.
I would say keep it. It's still going to be useful, even in a couple of years

Can you reason your answer
Why shouldn't I use elementaryOS on my main machine without delving into privacy autism?

Does it do everything you want or need it to do? Do you like using it?
If so, use it.

How do I make VIM into an IDE?
I have been trying all day to for example get autocomplete to work.
Like I want suggestions of class functions. This is literally all I'm missing with VIM.
YouCompleteMe isn't what I'm looking for since it only completes the current string.
Also multiple buffers? Change files quickly?
How do I make this work?
How do I get more functionality?
How do I get the functionality I want?
Also general VIM thread.
This right here is what I want.
Why doesn't YouCompleteMe provide me with this? Is it so hard??
Do YCM give that functionality but it doesn't work in big projects or what gives?
It's really fucking hard getting into this big projekt without some complete suggestions... just tellin ya.
Also what 'essential' plugins?
No one wanna help me with VIM and/or discuss VIM?
VIM vs emacs? Guys?
