I prefer headphones.
How about both? Are you poor of what...

Guys, here in Mother Russia is a dark day today. Our Great Leader and God Emperor Vladimir Putin has signed new law and now all our data should be kept by Internet providers for year.
Not that I'm do something illegal, but I am more concerned about my privacy now.
How can I fell a little more protected from hype-botnet? Maybe something simple, like vpn? Some kind of Tunnelbear, advertised here and there, can fulfill my needs?
Thanks in advance, comrades.

Other than price, is there any reason to get DDR3 over DDR4, or is DDR4 strictly better?

>>55461135
I see what you did there.
>>55461086
DDR4 is better in every way. But there's no decision to be made, because there's no platform that supports both (unless you're a real retard and consider buying DDR3L for Skymeme, but hardly any boards even support that).

Do they make a 27-40" 1080p 16:9/16:10 similar to this LG 29um58?
I love how it stays cool, has no air vents, and turns itself off.
Can I get that in a normal aspect ratio and resolution that games actually support?
Pic related. It was $220.
I attempted to upgraded my computer and ran into some problems.
I have this computer to start with.

Kek Cpu lead bends
what was the cpu you were upgrading to?
got a old ibm pc with a empty hdd
got no spare hdd so i got to install windows on it but the bios doesnt let me change the boot order (bios probably 2000s years)
for a bios upgrade i need to use a floppy and if i want to install windows on the hdd i need to do it on another pc
is there another way to do it?
pic not related but close
>>55460612
doing the bios upgrade is probably your best bet. you can buy a usb floppy drive that will work on a modern pc and a couple of disks pretty cheap on amazon
you should also look into installing linux on that thing.
there are sometimes retro computing threads here where someone might be able to help you out also >>>/vr/ might have similar types of people
good luck and remember to have fun
>but the bios doesnt let me change the boot order
You're doing it wrong. You can change the boot order in the BIOS setup since the 386 days.

Where do you buy your electronic supplies from /g/? I need to get a medium collection of molex 4/6/9 connections but they are bullshit expensive on Amazon.

I'm developing a fantasy 4chan stock exchange codenamed Meme Exchange (memex) for now.
The idea is that you create an account and you get given 1000 fake dollars. You can use this to invest in boards and potentially memes.
I will have scripts running on the server analyzing each board every hour and automatically assigning value to the stocks based on a long list of factors including but not limited to: number of threads per hour, posts per hour, number of posters per thread, average thread lifetime, and so on and so on. It will obviously also be effected...
