I'm in the US and need to send money to a friend in the UK. However, I need to send pounds. I do have a credit card that doesn't charge international transaction fees, but don't know how to pay a personal account. What is the cheapest/easiest way to do this?
>>52511077
mail them cash
>>52511077
you can't.
Just paypal them money, it's only a few %
>>52511095
No, that would likely be the worst way to do this.
Should I buy this /g/?

A meme
Why do you have a Nexus 6P when it bends?
Dude, it's 2016! This is not a year for bending phones.
Why is bend test a thing? It's one thing for a phone to bend when you put it on your front pocket but some moron using all his strength to bend a phone only proves that you shouldn't fucking do that you fucking retard
>>52511070
Because it was a weapon for anti-appul fags at first, then they all realised that it happens to every phone that isn't bulky as fuck so it's turned into a "Yeah, no shit" test with little value but gets good views because people love watching stuff getting destroyed.

honestly im glad this happened
Normies got triggered that everyone was laughing at their bendable iphones and begged apple to fix this. A much resistan iphone was released but then it was just as shitty to but more durable.
Either we go more "thin" or "thick" on smartphones im glad we see some change towards durability.

There are four ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Dual-boot Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about Linux)
4) Go balls deep and overwrite...

I was thinking write in markdown then it outputs interlinking pages to html

We have 7 colors of the rainbow and 100 numbers, each color can be associated with a number between 0 to 100 or 1 to 100.
For example (BLUE, 48)
How many bits do we need to represent all possible combinations?
For 7 colors we need 2^3=8
But for the 100 numbers do we need 2^7=128 (which encompasses 100).
Do we need 128 + 8 bits?
Do we need 128 bits alone because 128-100-7=21 extra bits
Do we need less than that?
Thank you.
P-please! don't hurt me!

Surface Pro 3, or Dell XPS infinity (touch screen variant)
Does anyone have experience with these?
>>52510773
I don't no, but I would personally go for an XPS , especially if it's a 15" like the one in the pic
If you want a laptop, buy a fucking laptop, if you want a tablet, buy a fucking tablet.
The thing is you can pick up a cheap tablet for like £100 these days, or even less. There's no point getting some rubbish 2-in-1 12" tablet crap to try and do real work on, when you could spend your money on a proper full size laptop that actually gives you the room to get proper shit done, and still get a tablet for the occasions you might need that (and really, what are the purposes of a tablet besides occasional browsing when you're sat on the sofa / taking a shit?)
don't get a touch screen laptop, they're pointless

Is anyone using openSUSE here? Any thoughts?
>>52510567
OpenSUSE seems to be a distro that literally everyone has had positive experiences with, but don't use as their primary for some reason.
Its my second favorite distro behind Gentoo.
>>52510589
It has a lot of GUI tools, maybe thats why the elitist avoid it. Who knows.

Look at this chat. Twice agents hung up on me for asking about their support policies.

Soon, no computer will be supported if it does not become part of the windows 10 botnet, where they literally scan and track private emails, messages, and files (yes, check the EULA).

It's not even a MS, it's their "answer desk"

I'm finally building my gaming PC and these are my parts, are they good enough for me to play games like csgo on 300+ fps? NOTE: I did make it on a budget
CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K
GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 970
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G1 Power Supply
HDD - Western Digital 1Tb HDD Black Edition
SSD - SSD Crucial M500 120GB
