Move to America if you're so unhappy. We'll be up here enjoying our superior country (minus the economy)

What ROM does /g/ use?

Well not really a choice since everything else is made by Indians on xda that just fork cyanogen and add more botnet

Am I the only one that hates this 'big' phone trend?
Like fuck, the only reason I had an iphone was because I loved the size which was perfect, now it's uncomfortable and was forced to upgrade due to shitty OS compatibility.
Fuck my life, this made me switch to samsung, but that doesn't mean I love samsung now and it's shitty java written OS thats slow as fuck even with x cores.
Anyone feel the same?

You have 10 seconds to explain why you aren't using the best and most advanced operating system on the planet. Silly memes like BOTNET and SPYWARE don't count.
But I am.

Because I defeat the botnet with Peerblock, Windows 10 is easy to use
I still prefer Windows 7 just because of cusomizability, compatability, completeness, and other c-words.

There are four ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Dual-boot Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about Linux)
4) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with Linux (not...

Is the 6s worth it? Is there a better phone out there?
>>52553479
There are comparable phones for 1/3 of the price out there. You just have to do a little research. Dedicate a few hours this weekend towards it, and then never buy Apple's overpriced shit ever again.

I recommend having a look at the ulefone power if thickness isn't an issue. It's around 1cm thick iirc, but has a 6kmAh battery so battery life should be pretty insane.
But feel free to do your own research and find what you like.
IPhone is just a trophy phone, most cases sold for it have a hole in the back for the apple logo, which should give you some kind of idea what group it's targeted at.

has anyone here ditched his desktop for a notebook and if yes, how is it working for you?
i bought a laptop 4 years ago. it was alright, but now i'm back to using a desktop as my main pc. wouldn't recommend replacing your desktop with a laptop at all, unless all you do is watching youtube videos and shitposting on 4chan.
>>52551665
I did for a few years but gaming started becoming a problem since it became fairly evident the large majority of notebooks have pretty awful cooling systems.
Now it's desktops for me mainly. Maybe i'll try laptops again in a few years.
>>52551665
I just really wanted something I can be mobile with, that's powerful and I can dock it at home and run dual monitors off it. And I felt that having a desktop and a laptop would be annoying since I'd have to reopen one thing on another when I get home or leave.
