Hi /g/
Kinda new to this and finally getting all the parts I need for my first desktop. I'm unsure of what to get for the operating system and what's good or bad. I also still need to find a nice monitor(don't need 4k), keyboard, and mouse to go with it. Does this build look alright and are there any recommendations?

I'll be back on in the morning to check for replies, thanks guys.
What size monitor you looking for?
fuck off faggot, read sticky then kill yourself.
Holy shit what is wrong with redditors? You'd expect coders to know enough about computers to avoid macs.
>>52628231
You're wrong. Macs are great for coding.
Macs have great build quality, sure they are over priced but if you can afford it why not?

Your baby duck syndrome is almost as bad as your autism. Grow up, faggot.
Why are you not using tiny core with your choice of de?
Easy to setup and ease of use for most people is based on the de so that's a non issue.

Can I install LXQt 0.10.0 on it?
And what package manager does it use?
>>52628889
Haven't heard of lxqt but it can run lxde.
Package manager is called appbrowser. Or tce if you just want to run the cli.

I've got 32 GB of RAM. Why the fuck should I care if my system uses 200 MB or 2000 MB?
How do I turn my programming knowledge into cash without becoming a wagecuck?
Right now I know js and c#. At the moment I'm developing mobile games with unity, I have a strong interest in both android development and servers/backend so I am willing to learn java and node.js respectively.
Install gentoo
