Nice to see /g/ is showing what their real priorities are, bunch of cocksuckers.
Not surprising really, we've always known OS X to be a dogshit unusable OS. Doesn't help that you also have to buy overpriced laptops with dual-core processors running at 0.8 GHz. I kinda expect them to have constant fuck-ups like this now.
quoted from the comments:
This is by design. The login keychain contains all the user passwords which are to be unlocked when a user logs in. It is a much a “security flaw” as is letting someone use you computer while you’re logged in. In other words, it kinda involves abandoning all hope of security in the first place.
Or as Douglas Adams put it:
>“Oh yes, I thought of something,” panted Ford.
Arthur looked up expectantly.
>“But unfortunately,” continued Ford, “it rather...

Anyone fall for this meme? They say sitting is the smoking of our generation. I made a DIY standing desk but I get exhausted after a couple hours. It gets better over time though.
http://www.hermanmiller.com/products/seating/performance-work-chairs/embody-chairs.html
You need carpeted floors and the right footwear for a standing desk to work; especially if you're not baby height. 8 hours everyday standing on a hard floor in dress shoes will leave you unable to walk normally.
I had the same stamina issue standing more than a couple hours. Start strengthening your core. You don't have to go /fit/ mode, but doing some pushups, situps, crunches, etc. in the morning helps a ton in the long run I promise. I started doing this along with running before work and it has done wonders.

Hi
Please link all icucks to image related.
I'm about to purchase my first Android smartphone. Been using a Lumia 520 so far. Dropped that shit quite a few times and it never broke. I liked it, but there's an increasing list of apps I'd like to use and god fucking damnit Pokemon Go just came out and I'm not going out with my tablet.
I'm ready to dump between $125 and $250 on it (500-1000 PLN), but I need to understand what am I paying for. Could you tell me why would I opt for Redmi Note 3 Pro over cheaper solutions? I don't think I need high specs and if there is a more durable alternative in that price range I'm all ears.
I'm open to suggestions, I can't even pick the fucking color for myself. I'd like something that will last for years, I can open that bitch up and replace everything, been building/cleaning/fixing PCs and laptops for quite some time now.

Quite surprising that a saw bot actually delivered for once.
Who is /g/'s favorite bot?
I'm rooting for Beta.
That sheer force of its hammer is pretty damn crazy.
It manages to flip itself over, even though it has electro magnets with around 500kg downforce on its bottom.
Another season already?
Shame it's wwe tier scripting sadly.
>>55473460
The wildcards definitely seemed kinda sketchy.
The fights aren't really scripted I think. At least they don't feel like it.
Just look at that fucking hammer.
Too bad pickaxes seem to be prohibited by the rules.

Don't worry anon.
You'll learn quickly.

Arch is literally "Reinventing the wheel" - The OS. Don't waste your time by falling for the meme.
Daily reminder,
that almost all of the .onion websites that contain illegal content(hacking, videos,cc, fraud etc) are honeypots and they deliver malware to the user.

they make PC/linus and mac ports only. they are not developers
>>55473342
i know anon and most probably s.enix is just using them as an escape goat..
but given the tremendous job they have done on the new deus ex i just cant understand why they are so incapable to create a decent dx12 path...
unless they dont wanna kill all the nvidia filters and they are trying to pass them through async (speculating ofc but the propability is big on this scenario..)

/g/,
Will 4GB of DDR4 RAM be enough for the average user? I generally have only a few programs open at a time. I don't play games, but I do occasional video editing and compiling of source code.
Go for 16GiB
Get 8gb it's fucking $30.
>>55473099
You should get 8 gigs just to be safe. It's always nice to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.
Plus, ram isn't very expensive any more.
I'm not attracted by video games anymore, I would love to still enjoy playing them but I get no fun in most of them ;( do you still play video games ? if not when did you stop gayming ?

Wrong board friend, I suggest you delete the thread before the mods give you a soft tap with the banhammer.
Don't post this shit on /g/
Don't even post it on /v/
No one wants to size-up or play the psychiatrist to your problems.

You knuckle dragging mouth breather. In the options field there is a space for text. In that space for text you can put the word "sage". That will prevent the off topic thread from being bumped back up to the first page you mucous eating oaf.
Okay /g/, the girlfriend discovered my collection of Korean Porn. How do I hide this in the future? Right now I'm encrypting with openssl, but I want a more automatic process. I don't want to throw too many passwords around or she'll know something is up. I want to just encrypt my files and make it look like some inconspicuous system files.

Always use Folder lock. You have an option that it doesn't look like it is installed but you open the program with key combination of your choice. Everything is hidden. If you close program, folders are gone
/g/, I need your expertise on a subject.
Background:
A couple of months ago, I got a new wireless adapter for the house, just a quick upgrade, nothing to particular. When installing and setting it up, I thought that if I just kept the same wifi name and password from the old router, it would be easier for everyone. It would be easier to remember for when people start asking "Hey can I get the wifi password" yadda yada.
Turns out: No one asked, because no one needed it. they automatically logged into my network without having to re-authenticate their...

Looks like it uses AES for encryption. Good luck cracking that. Still, pretty cool idea.
>>55473002
Them connecting to your access point would achieve what exactly as far as getting into an actual router AP? Doesn't really make much sense
What you're talking about is listening for authentication requests when people try to connect to a WiFi AP. This exists already, is how you crack WPA in the first place and is easier to do than you might think.
Assuming you have the right type of adaptor, any network in range you can sent deauthentication packets to kick everyone off. Once they reconnect...

Thanks for saving me the typing.
WPA2 has pretty respectable security around the handshake for all practical purposes. People will point out the weakness in WPS, but really what are the odds of intercepting someone pressing the WPS button on their router?

>Adds utilization of DirectX 12 Asynchronous Compute, on AMD GCN 1.1 GPUs and NVIDIA Pascal-based GPUs, for improved GPU performance.

No asynchronous compute for Maxwell, despite Nvidia saying it was capable of doing it. And this in a Nvidia-sponsored GameWorks title too.
>>55472966
Who cares? I sold my 980 Ti and bought a 1080 anyway. Unlike AYYMDPOORFAGS, Nvidia users can actually afford a graphics card purchase once a year. Ironically Maxwell "gimping" will likely affect former AYYMD owners more than Nvidia users, since they'll be the ones buying up these cheap used Maxwell cards to try and get away from their poorfag housefires.

Would splitting /g/ into /g/ and something like /consume/ make /g/ great again?.
/g/ was never great.
Some active moderators to clean up the worst of shitposting would be enough.
All the shitposting would go away if you saged their thread into obvlivion or better yet ignored their thread entirely. Most of it is just bait from a desperate lonely anon looking for some (You)s.
