My CS Project partner today was wearing a Casio f91w and pulled out a thinkpad x230. I bet she's reading this, but anyways what are the chances that normies use this stuff?
>>53189619
About the same as normies having stallman tatoo of ass
>>53189619
Is she a mudslime? You better report her to the FBI just in case.
>>53189647
I mean thinkpad is often dad's old laptop. The watch though...
>muh singularity
>muh robot takeover
>muh robot apocalypse
>the robots are taking all our jerbs
but I did read that book and took a class in AI.
It mostly relates to classical AI. The advances we are seeing in recent years are due to machine learning techniques such as RNN and deep learning.
>non-fiction literature
>implying that book wasn't written by an ai
>get some items on amazon for virtually free due to an insane price error basically giving me 99% off
>company emails me
>basically tells me they fucked up and can't do anything but would really appreciate if I sent the stuff back
>feel bad and send it all back
i'm not cutout for this world /g/
>>53186483
what goes around comes around [sometimes], thank you anon, the world would be great with more people like you
how much was the stuff?
Beta as fuck
I bet you're the kind of people who always says yes to anybody even if you're not okay with it. And all because your own insecurities and fear of being judged by others have total control over you.
You probably are going to end up cucked by your wife in your mids 40s.
>Error: Your image contains an embedded file.
What can it be?
Did you get it from a sink thread on /b/?
>>53186031
Was that why those threads were so goddamn popular? I just ignored them
>>53186055
they had cp in them senpai.
>we should name this program 'screen'
>we should name this program 'cp'
>>53179314
Fucking lol.
>just use cp bro
5 seconds to tell me why your distro of linux is better than windows
go
You guys really get off to Linux don't you?
Enjoy your fucking botnet.
Not using an OS that respects your freedoms. I bet you only use Windows for "Muh Vidya" you god damn normie.
GNU+Linux is really the best option for a serious consumer of modern technology.
get cancer and die
Should I sell my desktop and buy a skylake MacBook when they come out, /g/? I don't play games, or do any serious video editing. Those of you with this laptop, is it enough? Also, how is Linux performance and battery life?
get a think pad instead
>>53183249
Already have an X220 but I don't want to look like a pedo.
thinkpad t420 and spend the rest on a christian conversion camp for the bicurious
Where you been when samshit cucked its fans?

If you don't know this feature, it simply is android 6.0 added an adoptable storage feature, which allows you to format a microSD card as internal storage. Android will then merge the microSD card and internal storage into a single storage pool, allowing you to seamlessly install as many apps as you want, or load it with media.

All samshits usuals (touchjizz, lags, slow updates, region lock, 2.8/3 RAM only usable, etc.)
SAMSHIT FANS ON SUICIDE WATCH

>cucked
>This also means lots of carriers that weren't locking their Samsung smartphones because of all the hassle, now will do it.
HAHAHAHAHA
From what I remember it is illegal for a phone to be locked to a provider in a lot of places.
what does /g/ think about 4k/Ultra HD?
will 4K/8K formats catch on or is it too early/impractical?
what the fuck do you mean will they catch on? 4k is already the next standard
>>53177757
Aren't 4K monitors still considered meme technology?
>>53177781
No, it's just too expensive to be mass adopted.
Oh shit niggers!!! The warp elite is only 100 bucks. Get while the sale lasts! I'm getting one right now.
It has 2GB of RAM? Holy shit.
>>53176944
how long do you have to keep it on boost before you can unlock it?
>>53176944
Cellphones are for normies.
What browser does /g/ use?
>>53181615
Firefox
D/L the source
read it locally
Grow up.
Not Firecux or anything derived from it.
The Motorola Moto e is the best budget smartphone.
Prove me wrong.
What classifies as budget?
>>53171600
costs less than $100
>any smartphone
>good
Please end this fucking privacy and usability nightmare fad, kids.
Why would I use Keepass when Lastpass is even more secure?
If somebody gets your Keepass DB, they just have to guess your password.
Meanwhile, somebody has to know your Lastpass password and then break the 6 other multifactor methods you can add to your account.
On top of that, you don't have to spend so much time syncing your Keepass DB.
Keepass BTFO.
>If somebody gets your Keepass DB, they just have to guess your password.
And how will they get my DB when I'm taking every conceivable measure to prevent that from happening?
Who are the bad boys more likely to target, the single person with one Keepass DB, or the big service storing passwords of tens of thousands of users?
You are fucking retarded if you entrust your passwords to a 3rd party service whose security measures you cannot verify.
>>53172310
>And how will they get my DB when I'm taking every conceivable measure to prevent that from happening?
Lol as if you can stop them.
>>53172285
>6 other multifactor methods
You're not using all of the multi factor authentication methods you have on LastPass. You pick one to enable to 2FA.
>If somebody gets your Keepass DB, they just have to guess your password.
You're also not taking into account that you have 2FA on KeePass as well.
>On top of that, you don't have to sped so much time syncing your Keepass DB.
Happens automagically...

So I pissed off my little brother the other day, and he in turns throws my computer in our pool earlier this morning. I just found out and pulled it out an hour ago. just buy a new computer? can I recover any parts for a new build or at least the data?
>>53168570
You need to kill your little brother first before you get a new computer.
>>53168730
not an option brochacho
>>53168570
Your data is likely fucked. You might be able to salvage the CPU, they are surprisingly resilient as long as none of the pins were bent. Everything else is likely fucked. Don't attempt to power it on. I would write off your data or attempt to access it safely (say with an external drive enclosure) rather than using a regular motherboard in case of failure.
This will be the phone of 2016
Cannot even prove me wrong
Comes with free vr.... One word.... Porn
non-replacable battery.
2016 will be the year smartphones and tablets begin dying because people will finally realize what shitty technology it is.
In before some dumbfuck little child can't understand hating ONE PIECE of bad technology and generalizes that I somehow hate all technology and tells me to go back to the 1800s. There's always at least one of these dumbfucks.
