I made something. Can you break it?
http://37.187.239.35/
Let me know what you think about it :)
Do I have to register?
It's a godamn virus. Thanks OP. Run it on a VM guys.
>>53265127
Not OP, but you have to register.
Why are CS degrees so shit you need to put this here?
I also found this on /sci/
CS degree is useless alone, but it boosts your CV because of the diploma alone. You either get certificates, specialization, or a Master degree. Also there are shitty, shorter CS courses where you learn basic programming, logic and sometimes there are no math classes, so businesses want to make sure you're not a shitty professional
TL;DR
If you think you're getting anywhere with a CS degree alone, you're fucking stupid
>>53264698
Certs are useless
Bought one of these. Did i fuck up?
Install Gentoo
if you want fast storage get an SSD.
if you want lots of storage get a green or blue one.
>>53264396
Yeah, i'm probabilly gonna install gentoo on it.
Discuss your favourite editors, tools, ask questions, and help beginners getting started with LaTeX.
I'll start. I use LaTeX primarily for writing all kinds of reports, preferably but not exclusively using Vim. Here's an excerpt from my ~/.vimrc to write LaTeX documents using Vim and Rubber (e.g. apt-get install rubber).syntax enable
set number
set autochdir
au BufRead *.tex setlocal spell spelllang=en_gb
au BufWritePost *.tex !rubber --clean % && rubber --pdf --warn=all %
The last line automatically...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I know you generally shouldn't be bloating up vim with plugins but this one is actually worth it.
>Install vim-dispatch
>:set makeprg=rubber\ --clean\ %\ &&\ rubber\ --pdf\ --warn=all\ %
>:Make
Now you're compiling the pdf when you run :Make but it's doing so asynchronously. You can then set it to run Make whenever you save like you do now.
Shit's great.

Don't you know /g/ is now propa/g/anda ? They're all engineer, or students-to-be-engineers, but no one cares about things like LaTeX, they're instead babbling about smartphones and pizzas.
As for LaTeX, how do you do when your document is made of various parts ? Does rubber handle this ?
I don't use this kind of method 'cuz that (or it is bothersome).
As for new users, just use TeXLive and watherver editor you want (Kile, if u want to click click and uses Linux).

Who said being a programmer wasn't balla as fuck?
>>53264069
his programming abilities isnt what attained his net worth
>>53264080
Yes it is. He literally wrote Microsoft BASIC, the product that founded Microsoft. Without programming he had no business.

I have this 1TB hard disk drive. I don't know why I bought it but it cost me £40 and I want to use it well.
What does /g/ use their storage drives for?
>>53264045
Cartoons and gaymes.
Music, movies, vidya

Anime, anon. Anime.
Anime will liberate your mind.
Does anyone know where I can get a safe free version or true-crypt/bit-locker or can you recommend me another free program I can use to encrypt my hard-drive and USB?
>also encryption and privacy general
>>53262645
>true-crypt/bit-locker
mfw
Just Truecrypt
>>53262664
Don't use any nonfree program for encryption. Period. Neither Truecrypt nor Bitlocker are free software.

7.1a is the only acceptable version that hasn't been compromised. Verify hashes if you find a dl source. I have the link at home but I am in the office.
Hey people, I just had a quick question. So I'm getting a new phone, budget of course. I've been looking at the Motorola moto g 3rd gen. What are your thoughts on it and is it a good buy?
>pic related

Read.
The motherFUCKING.
Sticky.
>>53262250
Consider this to be a discussion of the FUCKING phone. Thanks for stopping by.
>>53262242
Solid phone I'd say. Multi tasks and opens regular apps near the same spped as an S6. Good camera, battery, screen, speakers. SD card slot, waterproofing. I don't think you can really go wrong with it.

But really, unless you bicycle there or some shit, you're gonna have to use some kind of non-free firmware in the telephone, or in your car. I don't think there are any open-source cars desu.
What are the benefits of using a 4chan client?
What are the options? Which of these is the best? Why?
I use clover personally. Floens is going to add back anonymous names soon.
>>53261417
These are the only 2 options?
>>53261417
He needs to add direct video streaming, not the current download then play option.

Bus drivers don't yield to anything, bus drivers are assholes
We had this thread already:

Long story short, if the bus was driven by an AI the accident would not have happened.

It's just a shitty shell (of which there are many available for Windows) with some basic utils implemented in JavaScript. It's fucking nothing.

Calculator.
AAA games on steam. Such as GTA Online.
What is /g/'s opinion of this device?
I'm tempted to use it as a handheld laptop for office suite, web browsing and displaying presentations with a mini HDMI converter.
>>53260551

>>53260551
I have one to play my emulators and shitpost like right now.
