>there are people browsing /g/ right now that are on 32bit operating system
You're 100% right!
Want an autismal thin mint?
What does /g/ see as the best cpu for video editing/rendering? AMD or Intel. I use Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects if that helps at all.
Depends on budget.
If you're only capable of spending less than $500, then the FX-8350 is a great choice for such workloads. The core count comes in handy.
If you're able or willing to splash out the cash, then i7's all the way, possibly Multiple Xeons if you're ok to bite the power consumption and heat.
About to root my s5. Anyone got a good reason not to do it ?
If the world had to switch to a single all encompassing programming language for every task, what should it be?
Are heat-sinks a scam?
>sign up as a CS major
>mandatory course in Indian culture and Hindi language
What the fuck? I thought this was just a meme... Does anyone else have to do this?
No. But it's good you are doing it, because you'll need to speak poo in loo if you get a real job. Most of your coworkers will be indian. And no not Aziz Ansari indian. They'll be Pajeet from designated Street indian.
Why Java Sucks?
Fuck. I didn't do any research on SSD's before I bought mine.
I had no clue how FUCKING low the write limit is.
5 months ago I fell for the SSD meme perpetuated all over /g/ and I lost ALL my fucking data.
We need a fucking sticky or warning or something about the shitty tech memes that niggers will post here just to waste your time.
>tfw fell for the 16 GiB RAM meme
How did Korea beat Japan in the technology war?
Will Nippon ever recover?
>Get a LinkedIn they said
>It's helpful they said
I only get contacted by poo in loos (pic related) and unserious recruiters trying to get me to do some web front-end shit despite the fact that I have virtually zero experience with front-end and it's not at all relevant to my education or previous experience.
Can /g/ end this useless, purposeless infighting between OS users and we can all agree that each is best at something, Linux can't do desktop, but it good for servers, Mac OS X can't do server, but it's best for work, and Windows is best for games, not so good for others. Each has its positive and negative.
So what will Microsoft do, if, despite all their efforts, Windows 10 doesn't catch on?
It'll catch on, the US government is moving to W10 and in a few years every other version of Windows will not be supported unless you pay them huge amounts for exclusive contracts.
Hardware makers are already dropping support for W7, like Skylake not supporting EHCI.
ITT Simple things Windows users can't do
Aight /g/, I already heard enough bad things about this. I just want to hear the good ones. I just want you to tell me -why- would you use this instead of Windows or Linux. No bias here. Just want your opinions.
Also, why some people still use mavericks to this day, like people who still use Windows 7. That I never actually understood.
