It looks kinda fun, already wrote my line of simple code.
Join us guys, you're missing out of the calling of faggots.

Why not just XChat?
I installed a new AMD crimson shit update and now the screen is pixelated and flickering. Thank you based AMD

Drivers don't prevent your graphics card from being old.
>>53376804
>we need money so lets fuck your gpu lol
>>53376786
Have you tried the open source driver? They tend to be better quality.
Is it true that apps are generally better on iOS than Android?
This is not a fanboy thread I really want to know. And I'm not talking about mainstream apps only like facebook/twitter, I'm talking about all the apps.
Yes.
Cocoa is fucking great
>>53376710
No.
A lot of the time (Snapchat for Android is a disaster), probably because people on the iOS app store are more likely to buy things.
What's up /g/
I run a taxicab service, and I do pretty much all of the accounting by hand.
I also know nothing beyond the basics of programming (just a couple of stupid programs without a GUI in cpp and some basic MATLAB)
I was thinking about slowly building myself a suite to run my business while also using it as a learning excercise.

and watch your company go bankrupt in the process? There's plenty of software designed to fix exactly your problem, use it.
>>53376344
You can do literally all of this in Microsoft Access if you want to. Should you not know how, a basic course runs through pretty much everything you need to know to set it up how you would like.
If you want to build something yourself to learn some programming, go ahead, it's certainly a useful thing to know at the least.

Hire a technical consultant instead of taking business advice of random strangers on an anime image board.
I'm 95% close to completing my purhcase of this card on Amazon to go with my i5 6600 build. Tell me why I shouldn't go through with it, /g/. It costs £175.
>>53376139
I would rather buy an MSI one. Not sure how thats cost
>>53376139
>i5 6600 build
why not a 6600K or even a 4690K? People are still using their ancient 2500K's now without bottlenecks because they're able to overclock.
>>53376175
The 6600 was cheap and I don't plan (need) to overclock.
For fuck sake, kill me

You can blame PHP for many things, but not your stupidity.
>>53376102
I seriously can't see where I'm so bad at php
>>53376110
Only if I could, never done php before. I can't see where the problem is, I think I'm missing a variable but fucking hell just end me

I'll do it

anyone else?

>I've been trying to link SFML libraries to my ide for 2 weeks now... I just can't do it.
I'm not sure if it's the IDEs that make people stupid or if the stupid people are just the ones that use IDEs.
>>53376044
I got it to work just fine with vim and gcc but i'm trying to work on windows because that's what's installed on my desktop and I literally cannot get it to work.
Is it really responsible for the high failure rate in modern electronics or is that just a meme?
>>53375862
>Lead-free solder has a higher Young's modulus than lead-based solder, making it more brittle when deformed. When the PCB on which the electronic components are mounted is subject to bending stress due to warping, the solder joint deteriorates and fractures can appear. This effect is called solder cracking.[16] Another fault is Kirkendall voids which are microscopic cavities in solder. When two different types of metal that are in contact are heated, dispersion occurs (see also Kirkendall...

curry-made or not, windows is still the "just werks" champ of OSs
GOT LINUXXXED?
AYY
>>53375812
How was your curry, pajeet?
How can a manufacturer release a card with the same chipset at a significantly lower price?
What do they cut out to lower the cost?
It cant be just manufacturing costs.
Opinion on a 960 MSI?
Differences between 2 and 4 gb?
>>53375691
380x>380>960
Usually, there is a reference card with both Nvidia and AMD. Usually those have rear blowers and they are the cheapest.
The reason why some chipset are cost more because off better materials, better cooler version or more Warranty.
But seriously dude get the 380 4GB. Its better in DX11, and will be better in DX12. MSI is fine
>>53375748
The only reason i prefer the 960 is the linux drivers..
For 20euros more i could get a sapphire 380x but then i would have to dual boot windows in order to play anything, and sadly this is not an option.
>>53375796
Ahh, I understand!
In that case if you want to use for Linux, Pic related is a great one! Altough AMD is working hard on Linux support in the few couple months.

how do you guys deal with the fact that you will never be able to afford a high-end gaming pc? i have been dreaming about owning one for like 10 years already...sometimes i go on pcpartpicker and search all the parts i want, and thats a lot of fun but then i always have to close the browser without ordering and the crushing reality sinks in
have you tried getting a job that pays more than minimum wage?
>>53375674
Get a job you shit.
Otherwise underage b&
>>53375674
I also wish for one, can afford it, but why bother when my laptop with i7 4558U and R5 230M can run all games I play at over 60 fps...
Going to pcpartpicker and making dream builds is a lot of fun tho senpai

How do you type on a membrane honest question
It feels like there is no pressure under your fingers at all
All keyboards get the job done, but it really is push bike vs car
>>53375397
not sure how mechanical keyboards help exactly.
Got my CuM Storm on sale for $50. Has special driver for NKRO so it works with all my chords. Feels good man. After using PCs for 20 years, I couldn't touch-type reliably until I got a Cherry board. My first keyboard was also mechanical, but shitty ALPS switches. How much would I have had to spend for a rubber dome board that can even crouch-jump? Thinking of getting a smaller one for my laptop so I can use it sideways to fit more lines of code on its screen. I'm accustomed to having one of my desktop monitors in portrait so coding in landscape is jarring.
