There was a meme doing the rounds recently about how Servo is slow and Rust is shit
Looks like that meme just got btfo
>>53392597
If Brendan Eich were at Mozilla, Firefox and Thunderbird with Servo will be out long ago.
Now these gay homosexual faggots have abandoned Thunderburd, Firefox OS and are now focusing on a useless "smart home assistant". https://wiki.mozilla.org/Smart_Home
With the way the company has been going it'll probably just be a faster version of Chrome when it finally releases.
I'm expecting that all the customization will be cut out.
that's not Maki
Is this the new /g/ browser?

Sure thing kid.
>we're not focusing on touchscreen devices
Yeah, totally not, GNOME. This is the latest Gedit, 3.18. Selecting text gives you this and an even more disgusting, touchscreen friendly button once you try to deselect it. You can drag and drop the handle below to tweak the selection.
How is this allowed?
It would actually be nice to have a touchscreen-oriented DE. I want to run distros on tablets.

if you want a bloat-top environment, use KDE
I had the same problem and was truly disgusted by Gnome as well.
I dont understand why big distros like Fedora and Kali even bother setting it as default environment. It is literally cancer and heavy on CPU and GPU.
This is why xfce will succeed.
thank you rms

What went right? Why do so many normies continue to use it despite its vulnerabilities to malware and general obsolesence? Most versions don't even support 64-bit architecture, or RAM greater than 4GB. For all intents and purposes, Windows 7 is the new Windows XP. I'm surpised by brother was able to order a Skylake HP desktop last month with W7 Home Premium installed via OEM.
For those of you still running XP, install POSReady 2009. It's XP but you'll get updates till 2019
>>53392182
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\PosReady]
"Installed"=dword:00000001
>>53392241
POSReady and XP are not the same thing. Yes you can set up XP to receive POSReady 2009 updates but you're still leaving parts of your system vulnerable. But hey, if you want to risk it just so your OS can have a different name, go for it.
>Basslink provides both internet and power to the state of Tasmania, Australia.
>Tasmania has 3 cables connecting it to the rest of the world, two 2.5Gbps cables (through ISP Telstra) + one 640Gbps cable (connected to basslink).

You fucked up your documents destination, possibly with a permissions issue.
Find Documents under my computer, right click, check the location. You can change the location to choose where it links to and remove the unnecessary copies of Documents scattered across your drives.
what is that program that everybody uses to easily capture and upload images? something like a print screen, but you can crop the screen instantly.
