So you're asking tech support if they need help
Are fucking retarded.
I sense a true fucking packy.
Fucking end yourself.
Someone from your internet division called and said that my computer had a virus and that it would cost $200 to fix it. I payed the money but I don't see any changes to my computer. Can I get some help?
Painfully accurate

Windows 10 is a fucking virus i swear
For what reason even run the upgrade!?
>>53464766
to delete your linux partition and prevent you ever install something other than win10
>>53464789
this. OP should be glad the malware at least stayed on its own partition. We need linux gaymen because we're at a point windows can't even be trusted enough to be run outside a VM anymore without fucking your shit up.
who /windows defender + malwarebytes/ here
Might as well not use an AV since Defender just wastes your resources without doing anything.
>>53464559
but that's not true
>>53464509
I haven't found a single Antivirus program that doesn't fuck with my system in an adverse way. They used to be good 10 years ago, now they're all dodgy as fuck.
Win10 has Defender built in, and its never given me grief, nor have I fallen victim to viruses because of my CommonSense 2017 Edition. I'm a little wary, but things seem fine and dandy for now. Maybe Windows10 is the end of viruses?
I just bought a Asus H61M-K, a i7 2600k and a hd 7970 3gb, the psu is a topower 650w, the problem is: im getting weirds reboots on the pc whenever i try to play a game for more than 5 minutes, it is the psu? is the motherboard? is the 7970 (is used a fair bit) im going to attach a pic of the problem
I dont like to beg awnsers here, but i dont really know what else can i do =(
>>53464380
Update Bios and possibly some of your cables are loose
>>53464380
Replace the CMOS battery.
Check the PSU power connections
Turn off the stupid power surge crap and get a UPS and a decent PSU.
And for fucks sakes go read a book.
>>53464408
I dont know anything about cables, my friend did all the connections, should i ask him to check them again? i have updated the bios with a pendrive, but to my friend with the same mobo takes like 4 minutes and for me it only takes a few secconds, wich cable would you say might be loose?
Anyone else feel that way?
I have a huge amount of ability and knowledge of programming but sometimes I get confused the fuck about what to do with this and feel scared that I'm not making the best use of my ability. I'm already working for a shitty media company doing SQL shit (I'm not a SQL monkey, I've done Java and C# before) but its just to pay the bills.
Anyone else going through similar feels?
>>53464192
this is one of the top reasons why i want to be paid to write software. sadly, most people hire to write shitty things with shitty languages, in addition to passing over merit.
i have a steady stream of stuff to write on my own as a hikki neet and this seems as optimal as it will get in this culture.
>>53464681
Have you written anything yet? Or just procrastinate like me?
Yep and the feeling of improving and getting much better in a certain language/area, but time and the availability of opportunities related to it are not by much.
Its part of life, we can never have it our way. Best to get good as possible and find some other way to make use of the skills.
Isn't true freedom having the choice to install any software you want?
Aren't these Stallman-approved GNU/Linux distros really just enslaving you in a Freedom-enforced bubble?
>Literally censoring access to software we don't like
I'm sorry, I meant Gtrue+Freedom
>>53463904
Well if you want to run other software you can just run an OS that isn't FSF approved. The point of the FSF approved operating systems is that you can run it completely without using proprietary software.

Worth getting one of these?
Currently running a R7 260X 1Gb. I can't really afford spending a lot, so second hand I can get one of these for about £85.
If you're not looking at 1440p, it's a pretty viable card for gaming. Just be prepared to turn some settings down.
Hell, it can even do 1440p, just not amazingly.
>>53463916
Currently gaming on 1080p.
Some way in the future I'd like to get a 4k screen, but wouldn't game at this resolution. Probably set the game to 1080p again. It'd not look terrible as it'd map fairly ok.
Where are you getting yours? I want one but I'm not sure if I should buy a used card. I plan on using it with dual 2560x1440, running a game on one and browser on the other, could it handle this?
Also, can it handle 10-bit anime or does the CPU do that?
And I think it's max res is 4K,

It works nicely and it's ridiculously popular.
Nothing else really, what did u expect?
