Going to build an overkill pc for my 20th birthday. Planning on installing OSX and Windows 10. 2 Gfx cards for 4k and future proofing gaming. 2 ssds for each OS and same with the HDDs. This is my first pc build. What do you think /G/?
>future proof gaming
>old CPU
why not an i7-6 series?
>>53551878
also motherboard PC socket is 1151 whilst cpu is 1150
>Overkill PC
>Not X99
>Z170
>4790K
Those don't even go together.

Are sound cards just a meme or are they actually useful in this day and age? I use pic related, thinking about going back to onboard Realtek audio.

Why not just buy a USB headphone amp/dac than an on-board one?
My motherboard has a integrates sound card, buying another one is a meme.
Yo, i've got a problem, I need to implement an image deployment solution for a customer that is only using 1 USB stick.
the PC needs to be able and boot from the USB stick and deploy an image contained on the same USB stick, all whilst being as normie friendly as possible.
Anyone with any recommendations for the simplest solution to this?
live-usb
Use a phone to live boot

which os? will it need to install from the usb? or does it need to be installed on the usb then run from it? linux and windows can do both of these. what exactly do you need it to do?
My friends are laughting at me becouse i have GTX 970... they saying things like "my jokes are 3.5/4" pls help me :(
>>53549576
chances are you are using it for gaming, just use it and dont pay any attention to others.

I rate this thread 56 out of 64.

i dont get it
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. BTW I copied this code word from word from a book that i'm reading. Everything should be going right but I get that error.
On another note, how do I get code block to describe the error to me? It only displays that red box line of the code that has the error.

Language is C.
I think you are missing a { there
The syntax is{ /* code */ } while(x)
Also, beware of weird " characters that word might give you instead of the standard ASCII "

>{ /* code */ } while(x)do { /* code */ } while(x)

what's up slowpoke
will the new line of CPUs by amd fit into my am3+ motherboard?
What happened to parallel buses 13 years ago is happening to x86 now. Just like parallel buses hit a wall and serial ones eventually caught up, RISC CPU architectures like MIPS and ARM are catching up with x86 now and will soon supplant it.
Nope. Desktops, laptops, and the vast majority of servers still use x86. RISC is for tiny devices and embedded devices.
>>53548713
>x86 is kill
As long as 64bit OSs are useful, it's not going anywhere.
More like x86 is starting to surpass the power efficiency of ARM and Intel is about to start eating Qualcomm's lunch.
Due to recent events at work I need to know my supervisors password at work. He fails to logout of his gmail everyday, and leaves his computer logged in when he clocks out (it auto locks after 10 min).
Is there any way to learn his gmail password, while his gmail account is logged in to explorer?
Thanks brothers. Big things pending.

You sound like a piece of shit.
So the new apple earbuds leaked.
Absolutely fuck this design.
>>53548483
they look like the old ones but with a new connector, whee.
>>53548496
Ok Tim
>>53548483
i mean it wont exactly be a problem for like 60% of iphone users
the vast majority never switch to different IEMs, they just keep using earbuds
and its not like people like us or people who care about audio would ever buy iphones anyways, itunes is a shit

newfriend, while it might seem "cool" to hate everything, it's a very subjective matter and making a thread like this does not contribute any quality to this friend.
So kindly fuck off and we would clap like merifats while you kill yourself.
>stupid threads that could have been posted in /dpt/ or not posted at all

Have you tried reseating the cpu, doing memtest to check your ram, virus scan (unless you use GNU/Linux)
You know...the obvious stuff one does when trying to troubleshoot?
