>I'd rather use some cheap shit made in China just because it has a Cisco logo on it instead of fine hardware made in Europe by MikroTik
Explain yourself.

>>53646814
what kind of autist twist ethernet cables together?
And please tell me you don't have separate Rx and Tx cables for no reason.
>>53646814
Mikrotik is software only, it runs on the linux kernel; it can do everything, it's the ak47 of networking. That's the catch though, lots of things are faster if done 'in hardware' i.e what cisco, juniper do.
Why does /g/ hate Indians? They helped me out many times.
nice try pajeet
Pajeet, I know that's you.
Poo in the code.

Let's start a fundraiser and buy this awsome thing. It costs somewhere between 300k to 350k usd. We should all then gather on Sundays and remove the paintjob from random parked cars and then run away.

Seems like more of an open sores problem than a JS problem. But JS devs are still retarded regardless.
Is there such a thing as vanilla UNIX anymore that is still supported?
What do you mean "vanilla UNIX"?
As in, the original Unix developed by AT&T's Bell Labs, or an OS that conforms completely to the Single UNIX Specification as developed by The Open Group?
>>53646208
2nd one senpai
>>53646354
There are five currently supported certified UNIX systems.
AIX, HP-UX, Inspure K-UX, OS X, Solaris

Thank you

Just reinstalled a clean version of Windows. Previously always used Chrome but I know /g/ hates it.
What browser should I use and why?
all big, usable browsers have their own flaws to them nowadays sadly
firefox is what i'd recommend but it it's run by sjw's
chromium is also good but no flash
Chrome Canary
Has better about:flags desu senpai
Just change the piss icon to something more pleasant to look at
Chromium if you get a hold of all the Google packages so you could sign-in and shit

this really changes how the browser works yes

What direction are computer going to head now? Are people going to be content with hardware not advancing as fast as it did? Are people now going to start shunning small size in favor of more powerful multi processor setups with better cooling? Are we going to see a bigger push to move everything to the cloud so that people can still experience computers becoming...

Here's a hint: People don't like change.

You move to quantum computers
You realize Intel has never been the leader I need innovation and we're only good at taking research and expanding on performance
You realize AMD has been the leader that opened up CPUs to the next level and will do it again
More cores!
Huawei Watch vs Moto 360 2nd Gen. (46mm)
Which one to pick?
Pros of Huawei:
Better DPI
Has speaker
AMOLED
Full round display (also a negative since no light sensor)
Pros Moto 360 2nd Gen:
Bigger Screen
Cheaper
So Huawei wins? What do you think? Did I forget something?

apple watch t︂b︂︂h
Neither, those look fucking ridiculous.
>>53645451
I think that's pretty subjective.
Other than that the ones on the photos are weird options to take, there are more minimalistic models
Do you store audio files in you computer?
Im seriously thinking about either upload all my music to google play music (or other service like that) or simply delete all this mp3's and just use spotify.
What's /g/ opinion?
>>53645336
I keep all my music on an external hard drive cause I have about 100 gigs of it and friends want certain albums, songs, artist and such, it's just easier than bringing a laptop with it or whatever.
>Not having a collection of Lossless FLACs
Yes. Because fuck using data plan on streaming

At least they'll fit in the same sockets, for once

/sg/ startup general
what made you anons join a startup?
or why did you?
would you work for equity?
what has your experience been?
where do you find the right startup to work for, and would you ever work from home for a startup, maybe even if /g/ started its own startup?
What are your most important programming skills for the startup world you could offer?
ask your questions and post your answers here!!
>>53645209
bump
Startup threads legitimately trigger me, because over the past 2 years I've seen some of my old ideas being successfully materialized by others. This is the worst feel.
I did manage to escape depression, and I'm currently gathering money to fund the most basic demonstration phase of my (soon to be) startup, but I still have a long way to go and time is running out.
Even worse, I've reached 23 and I feel that I'm already past my creative phase, and I'm running out of novel business ideas.
>>53646207
post yfw and your new idea gets materialized once again by someone else before you're able to
Everyone else copies.

>>53645169

An alleged controller/new Nintendo console thing. It's probably not real and Nintendo will die in 5 years don't worry about it
