Tools are technology
I know there really isn't any best tool, the best tool is the correct one for the job etc...
But what tools do you genuinely enjoy using?
Pic related for me, love muh trusty impact driver. It's unfortunate Bosch chose to design it like a fucking meme mouse but it works wonderful and I got a good deal on it.
Would rather have Dewalt desu but I wanted lithium so I would have to buy a whole new kit and my inner Hebrew wouldn't let me pass up the Bosch kit on cyber monday
Ratchets are my fetish.
Something about the clicking just tickles my autism in the most wonderful way.
This is a really stupid question - I hope /g/ doesn't hate me for this.
How come when NVIDIA / AMD show off there new GPU or whatever they always have the "stock" case or cooler or whatever and then there's different company's like zotac and gigabyte and the cooler / case is different....
And what is a " reference "
And where can I buy one of those generic looking AMD cards...
(Pic related, it's the "stock" GPU or whatever)
This isn't bait. I'm just incredibly stupid :-(
"Reference" coolers are the ones they always show off, "third-party" or "aftermarket" coolers are the ones that other brands put on.
For the current AMD lineup, I don't think you can buy any reference models except for the Fury X and the Nano.
My guess would be they have to go in ballsdeep and release a card at the get go with an aftermarket comparable cooler which costs more $$$ or closed loop liquid cooling which is even more.
The reason for having this "reference" cooling with a single fan is because it is cheap (The biggest reason) and running only one fan which keeps the card cool enough at stock looks more promising to consumers.
Imagine if Nvidia released a reference cooler with two fans looking similar to single fan blower design...

I know /g/ isn't a tech support forum, I can only load pleb facebook and some other sites like 4chan from my router. In any case, I'm using some very old solutions to get my internet. A D-Link WBR-1310 and Linksys BEFSR41. I had everything working completely fine twice, but after some time my connection degrades and then fails completely. At the moment I have no WiFi and can't connect to either router's homepage (192.168.1.1;192.168.1.0.1) with everything plugged in.
then you're more ignorant than anyone I've met, including me because I made this thread
Time travel is technology what are thoughts /g/

Is this the best phone on the market?
Is there anything like audacity but with the ability of recording several devices at the same time?
I used kristal audio engine but its outdated as fuck and also does not work on my new pc.
Can't seem to find any alternative, especially foss.
>windowfags will defend this
Wow OP, that is some next-level autism you are suffering from.
If only the poor thing didn't have a 128gb SSD.
Me and my Asus laugh at your pitiful attempt at a laptop.
Very good discount but the 128gb SSD is way too small.
If it had a 256gb I would eat this shit up.
My current Asus laptop is an i7, nvidia 950M with 12GB ram and a 250GB SDD and I spent $800.
I really don't get you apple guys.
Hey /g/, I heard you've been working hard to get that job at Google you've dreamed about.
Let me give you an easy interview question. How many flights of stairs would it take to get to the Moon?
If you can answer this question I'm sure you're a shoo-in for that job ;)
>How many flights of stairs would it take to get to the Moon?
You wouldn't use stairs to get to the moon, dumbass.
New to programming.
Is there an easier way to do this?
Learn how the language works and what constructs it offers first.
There are 3 VERY BASIC things which you can use here to make your life a lot easier, which you'll have to figure out.
Just installed an mSATA ssd in my X220
is loonix mint still hacked/backdoored? or is it safe to download now?
