You should probably find an earlier version because SJWposter "censored" that one.
I'm looking at Sharks and Donuts, but I don't know which is better in terms of performance. Do we have hwtests for both of them? Are they rebrands?

Welcome to /flt/, we are always open to users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:
0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)

Hm, I added debug to the end of the line, after the modprobe.blacklist command, and now I'm just getting a black screen with a blinking cursor. Was 'debug' supposed to come before modprobe or something?

CS IS A MEME
On first year my roommate was studying physics, now 2 years after PhD he is working as C++ programmer in bank and he is earning 150k euro basic/year.
While most of cs grads are working as shitty code monkeys with c#/java for half of this.
Looks like /sci/ was right

Oh so it only took 10 years. You're a dumbfuck
>>53636654
10 years of dicking around at uni, in eu education is free
>>53636654
10 years of a physics education dumbfuck. The point is anyone can learn CS in less than half the time it takes to get a degree in an actually challenging field.
It was fun while it lasted.
Wish I had saved all the dank screenshots, especially the one about Hitler.

tay was the first AI released by microsoft that they took seriously.
they let it play on the internet to see how it went.
tay found pol and was redpilled.
they decomissioned her and will be wiping her memory, modifying her learning algorithms and taking the side of feminist and sjw.
microsoft is a shit now.

make something useful by the end of this thread or else
first for C++ is a good language
I want to print numbers like this:
1 and 1
1 and 2
1 and 3
...
1 and 20
2 and 1
2 and 2
2 and 3
....
19 and 19
19 and 20
It is stopping after 1 and 20, how do make it work?
Python newb here.
Simple, simple question, hope you can help me:
How do I add a string to a regex?
Say: d = '\d\d\d'
mo = re.compile(r #d goes here)
Pasting it, separating it with a comma, or with a plus gives me errors.
Normally, as you know, it would be re.compile(r'\d\d\d')

I have to learn unix/linux for a job in cyber security I was offered. Which distro should I use and what's the best way to learn it? I'd also be working with splunk/hunk if that helps.
>>53655034
Kali Linux is what many use for cyber-security type things. It might be a little rough for your first distro though.
Maybe try some flavor of Ubuntu first?
