I've just purchased a 2 in 1 inspiron which naturally is a touchscreen.
I would like to make the switch to a decent linux distro but I'm concerned about wasting the touch potential, support etc.
What are the most stable choices here?
Or alternatively should I just do an enterprise install of win10 so I disable the botnet

What you're referring to as "Linux" is in fact GNU/Linux.

Is there any benefit to using pic related for the desktop?
Some reasons I could think of were:
Less botnet
Superior filesystem
Better security
I'm curious as to whether it is worth the switch
Its a server os idiot
>>53730523
Yeah but it'd work fine for desktop wouldn't it?
>>53730673
Not really.

Sorry man. completely misread that.
It all went wrong. I could see it would happen when it became too big to not fail. My only regret I didn't invest everything I had when it was rising to sell out now.

Your graphics card sucks up anywhere from 2-400 watts and has a tiny heatsink compared to the tower coolers and 1-200 watts a CPU would have. So why when I'm benching them do they both end up at 80 degrees anyway?

A physical hosted server, a rented virtual server, or a rented hosting plan?
So there is a lot of circlejerking around Transmission around Linux communities.
Why is that? What makes it better than for example qBittorrent?
best linux client is rtorrent senpai
>>53728727
It isn't
qBittorrent is the best but not minimal
>inb4 stalled my torrent with 0 peers
Transmission has less control
>inb4 malware in my botnet OS with no package manager
Deluge is in the middle and is the best
>>53728767
transmission is the best
