>tfw you hack into the mainframe
>tfw counterhackers are trying to trace your code but you're too quick and have to escape the network with the files
Oh boy, /g/, its here!
Let's go ahead and crack this baby open. Lots of cardboard shielding what's inside.
old thread: >>53748407
What are you working on, /g/? Are you using the REPL at least?
I've got no idea. Maybe the thai-cartoon trap programmer cancer has been finally recognised as such by mods?
>get computer glasses
>everything within two to eight feet is as clear as fuck
>can see the entire screen clearly, without eyestrain, after hours of using the PC per day
My god. I can't say it'll make a difference for everyone, but if you have really bad vision already, a separate set of computer glasses can make a huge difference. Definitely not a meme.
>who blind as fuck here
And MKBHD gave it a B for battery..
"Typical use" is a worthless term tbqh, your typical use isn't mine and another anon has another again.
S7E fares pretty decent in the usual benchmarks without topping anything, B or B+ seems justified.
I realized now that i have some kind of McCollough effect thanks to ClearType. I see that awkward brown on the left edges of letters and that uncanny blue on the right. Fuck you M$
Do I have any hope of finding either of these old cases, or anything like them? Is there like a craigslist for old PC parts that I don't know about? Seems like nobody makes green cases nowadays. :(
Why are you so bad at the internet?
is this dead for anyone else?
What GTK/icon theme does /g/ use?
Am currently on Arc and Numix circle
I don't like the implications of your image and worry about the possibility that you believe its message so I'm not gonna tell you shit.
How does /g/ feel about electric cars?
I just got a summer internship with the official title of "IT Intern". They've told me I can choose whatever title I want for my resume. Here is a breakdown of my role:
50% Coding and database building for a web app
30% Setting up and maintaining a server for said app
20% "Other duties as needed" setting up computers / helping reorganize the server rooms / teaching people how to use aforementioned app
It's basically half software development and half IT. Any ideas how I can frame this on my resume to better reflect what I'll be doing?
>frame it to better reflect
Frame it with a mirror, my friend.
>apple has good customer service
>but only if you spend an extra $199 on apple care
How is this any different from extended warranty from other brands?
You know how I know you don't have experience trying to claim warranty service from other tech brands?
Doing so usually involves multiple hours on the phone with some curry you can't understand.
Honestly never had that problem. I just take it back to my retailer, who then sends it back to the distributor, who then has to deal with the manufacturer.
Being Australian is really nice sometimes
Opinions in ssd hosting?
>working inna datacenter
>provisioning a server
>Hostname: cheapssdvps or something like that
How do you deal with procrastination /g/ ?
I can't avoid the temptation to check youtube or facebook while working and I can't just unplug the internet because I need it for the work I'm doing.
God, kill yourself. I unplugged from FB a long time ago and YT is trash to waste time on, wtf do you do there?
Don't you want to be rich? Have a wolf of Wall street-esque life? M8, git good, mkay?
