I know it's dirty. I'm not the smoker in the house and spring cleaning is on the way.
So my computer decided to update on Windows 10 on its own. At first I was really pissed off, but after using it for 2 days, I actually start to really like my Windows 10 now. It looks a lot nicer than windows 7, it boots faster, and the new Windows updated automatically fixed all my drivers problems without me having to search for them on the internet. So why does /g/ hate 10 so much? I think its a lot nicer than 7 and definitely 8. I also heard they are now getting linux compatibility support. So what's the big deal with people not liking Windows 10? It's pretty darn...

I agree with you. Windows 10 is pretty great and it's also a completely FREE upgrade. There's also now only a couple months left for the free upgrade so taking advantage of it right now is a no-brainer.

Same thing stated many times over.

I used it a few months ago (been away from Windows dince XP) and I'm wondering if there's anything someone can do to password protect system files. The same issue Windows has had since always afaik. Does such a thing exists?
My AMD A10 7870k comes in tomorrow in the mail. How does this make you feel, /g/entoomen?

My roommate spends his entire day in his room screaming at the top oh his lungs to his online friends on xbox. I cant even be in the room it's so annoying. Nor can I chill in the common area as I could hear him through the door.
Is there any way to break his fucking mic without doing any physical damage so he won't know its me. So he will think it broke by itself?

You're not allowed to complain about anything until you stop gaming the department of education for free money and start contributing to society. Until then fuck off career academic.
>>53780784
Yeah. What you do is find a gallon of bleach and drink all of it because you're too much of an autistic faggot to go tell your roommate that he's being too loud and making the home, in which you pay just as much rent as he does, inhospitable.
Literally kill yourself.

I want something I can play my steam games on. Most likely I'll end up streaming them to the tv or something. I've tried to find out input lag information but to no avail. The VIZIO actually has some people say it's input lag is 29.5ms or other good sounding speeds but the reviews that do say that don't seem that trustworthy.
If anyone has experience with these...

Have you never owned a computer before? 32" is way too god damn big for anything unless you're sitting across the room. Get a 24" or 27" panel.

Welcome to /fg/lt/, or as I've recently taken to calling it, /fg+lt/. We are always open to users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:
0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you...

The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
