If you are that person, post your simple/small/stupid questions here
Don't bump. This is a slow board, and will continue to be. Wait for an answer or google it.

The time on my computer has been all sorts of fucked today. Is the CMOS battery going bad or what? It's been changing even while on.
Do you want Yotsuba back instead of this gay Google design? The answer is yes, yes you do.
1. Install Tampermonkey
2. Add a new script with the following code:for(var i=0; i < document.styleSheets.length; i++) {
if(document.styleSheets[i].href === "http://s.4cdn.org/css/md2016.651.css") {
document.styleSheets[i].disabled = true;
}
}

What cheap Chinese tech have you bought, and would you recommend it?
Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on eBay, AliExpress and similar sites.

Any reason to avoid motherboards from aliexpresss or dhgate?
Some other anon in previous thread had link to xeon and mobo for almost half the price of an i3. Should be decent after an oc
>>53815805
Personally, I wouldn't, because I
1) don't want it to be damaged in shipping, and don't trust the chinese to use actual static shielding bags
2) don't trust them to use quality Nichicon/rubycon/suncon/nippon chemicon caps for refurbishing
>>53815805
No.
What are you supposed to do after installing gentoo?
>>53815156
Go to /g/, ask for tech support, wait for someone to say "install Gentoo", post screenshot
>>53815156
installing gentoo is the ultimate goal of life
if you manage to do it, you have to kill yourself
>>53815192
And then what so you do after that, dear anon?
I want to encrypt lots of files I'm gonna save on a DVD. How should I do that?

Anyone using Project Fi? Thoughts or experiences? I'm currently on Verizon and debating switching to save money.
>>53815016
Using it. Pretty decent. It uses towers and wifi
My Nexus 5X comes next week, so I'm getting ready to switch over. It's about the same as I was paying on Verizon, so I'm looking forward to it. Pay what you use data is sweet.
I had them with a nexus 5X, regret it greatly, and switched to boost (S4).
It started out at like ~$50 a month but then gradually climbed to ~90 a month. This carrier isn't worth it at all, would never recommend anybody ever get it.
Now I regularly use 600GB+ of data each month and only pay $55 a month. Speeds aren't fast but still usable (4-6 Mbps).
What's your excuse for having less than 12 threads /g/.

Chances are you have noticed DMCA takedown notices everywhere, even on content that is fair use, videos of people talking about media in front of a camera without showing any of the media they are talking about, and items the DMCA-issuerer doesn't even own yet wanted to flag just because they could. Legit content creators are getting hit by this more than pirates are. There are no penalties for filing false DMCA claims and the claims may be repeated over and over even if the creator is proven innocent....

Should 4Chan get a visual change? I've grown to like the way the Material design looks this April Fools day and wondering what others opinions are on it.
Let's vote, should 4Chan keep the Material design, make something different, or keep it the same. Submit you're own design ideas

I wouldn't really change the site that much. However I do like the material design a bit.
