I got my book from radioshack when radio shack was good. Even had a chapter dedicated to reading schematics.
Why is vb.net a bad programming language, I personaly like it and use it for all my programming needs, it's simple and gets the job done same as other programming language.
>>53810107
It's like C# only with a mongoloid's syntax
>No higher order functions
>No algebraic data types
>No tail-call optimization
INTO THE TRASH IT GOES
It's fine. Personally the syntax is sometimes a little annoying because of no curly braces, so I prefer C#, but functionally it's identical and perfectly fine.
Hey /g/ i've been experiancing strain in my wrist lately and was wondering what you guys think about trackball's and what one would be the best to purchase.
>>53809672
My roommate uses that exact mouse and he says it's really nice. Never heard him complain about it once.
Newegg has the "Kensington Orbit K72337US Black Scroll Ring USB Wired Optical Trackball" for $20 (half price) right now.
I use OPs wired version trackball. Best mouse I've had for general computing, even light gaymen.

Here's me, a smug poorfag still using a jailbroken iPhone 4s. Shit still works smooth as ever if I disable some blurs.
I just like being able to manage music without iTunes, watch youtube on lockscreen for free, etc.
Is there anything that can replace this?
>>53809486
Yes, another iPod Shuffle.
How should I be using my mouse /g/ I have been feeling strain in my wrist recently also if trackballs are the solution what is the best one I can buy
You should have got a rockboxable sansa while they were still cheap.
Many hobbies snd interests have their hardcore meet-up spots in real life that exclude normies and casuals. Elite, dirty, grungy powerlifting gyms are an example for the /fit/ community.
Where can /g/ go in real life to talk to other hardcore enthusiasts, without needing to see tons of family-friendly/brand-name consumer electronics everywhere? Where is the /g/ Iron Temple?

I liked real moot better
If you think this place hasn't gotten a million times better under Mook's rule then you're a fucking idiot.
Moot literally never gave a shit about this website besides /b/ and /a/, and was still too incompetent to stop accel from destroying /a/ for literally years.
He's also a retard and doesn't know how to stop spam from normal bots without captcha on EVERY post and blocks tor/VPN.
>>53808416
Who is moot?
Could this be a sign for the future?
>>53808155
its se secret warning message from moot. they are coming.

Who, Google?
4Chan plus now a owned by Google.
Here you can find a bunch of people who were forced to make an account but never used it. And because we are Google and we love to categorize we removed the concept of non segregating friends lists and created circles.
My seagate HDD finally died
So, what is the best perfomace/price SSD right now?
Also, a 120GB one is enough, I have external storage so I will only use it for Debian and the software

Read the sticky faggot.
After years of development in Python I got to do some Ruby and, well... I liked it. Maybe more than Python in some ways. Is this bad? Is it going to turn me in a bad person, a drama queen hipster SJW with crazy hair?
I have some related questions: I'm learning Rails anyway but should I learn Hanami? What is Ruby's equivalent of SQLAlchemy?
Also, Ruby general, I guess.
>>53807508
Ruby's ORM is ActiveRecord.
>>53807548
Rails's default ORM is ActiveRecord*
>>53807548
>>53807561
SQLAlchemy implements a different pattern of database access. It is more like Hibernate than ActiveRecord.

9 years of running the same OS and I'm fine.
