Does anyone use Gentoo as a daily driver and how is it? I'm thinking about installing it on my laptop. Is there any issues with dual booting?

Does a VPN protect you from getting caught? Or do they know I'm the same person and are watching me?
>>53813411
Caught? What the fuck are you doing watching infantile pornography?
>>53813457
no I mean tracked by the website users, mods, etc...is VPN enough to ddisguise you
A VPN can expose you in a few ways:
1. It keeps logs
2. DNS issues where it uses your normal IP for your ISP's or self set DNS server connections. Many VPNs have the option to prevent this.
3. You're logged into a service like Facebook or some such while doing illegal shit on the VPN.
4. Your VPN connection drops, and momentarily you are using your normal IP. Many VPNs offer a killswitch for when it detects this happening.
Basically the answer is yes unless you set yourself up to fail.
Why aren't you programming in four dimensions?
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1784334872/4-dimensional-operating-system/description
>Many times I have thought that to myself that computers would work better if you could just "add a two" in binary code. Because of advances in technology, it is now possible to do even more than that. My name is John Jenkins and my invention is called Busco Quadnary. This difference between my invention and traditional binary is that you can program in four dimensions right out of the box....

Is this a legit thing on kickstarter or an April Fools
Do you think this provides enough cooling for a "GTX 750 Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 and AMD Phenom II X4 B95". I am a first time builder, and I have bought out a refurbished business HP 6005 computer that came with integrated graphics and a pretty bad dual core, so I decided to buy my own parts and later found out that I could not fit my GTX 750 TI inside the case so I had to remove it completely. Do you guys think this will be safe and won't cause any problems to my computer in the future or should I be worried at all, thanks.

Mozilla falls again quite a lot down in market share numbers. Now in the 10%+ range.
They should rethink their tactic that mimicking Chrome solves all their problems. At least their users seem to think more and more different about that topic and give them the middle finger.
When will Mozilla learn and change course?

Fork it

I stopped using Firefox when Australis was released.
So, i could not care less. But i care for all the users who are still being forced to accept that Mozilla is a Chrome bitch and sadly have no good alternative.

Why can't someone make a lightweight browser that can deal with html5? Is this too much to ask? Jesus Fucking Christ
Hey /g/.
I'm currently installing Debian in a VM on my Debian host so that I can then install Wine in this VM to run old Japanese Windows Toon Porn games.
What are you currently up to?
HRT
>>53811720
trying to pick out/make a nice zsh theme,
why are you installing wine in a vm anon? why not on host?

And I'm taking a shit while browsing 4chains.
We seem to know how to invest our time in the interesting stuff.
Stallman Thread
Your city is not a real city unless it features in this link: https://stallman.org/photos/
Does Stallman's camera use free software?

>>53811413
Probably doesn't use software.
Stallman doesn't seem to count software on a read only medium (like a non-rewritable firmware on a camera) to not need to be free software.
Should I get s7 or wait for s8

Just buy a S4, S5, or S6 if you want a Samsung
they all still work perfectly fine.

Best Linux distro for someone who cares most about casual stuff?
>I don't code, so that's not a need

Try it on Linux after running "xset m 00" on a terminal.
Windows has always been inconsistent in my experience.

Why does captcha want me to identify numbers and pictures for them when they clearly already know which images are the numbers and pictures?
>>53810875
Ive always wondered this myself. The image captchas though can be tricked
Also wondering this
they probably have a good estimate but want to increase certainty
