Time for a homescreen thread
Discussion: Is Android worth rooting at this point? Hostfile adblocking and ricing are the only things I use it for and with the new Nexus update release cycle it seems to almost not be worth rooting every time.
>>53793020
Well rooting alone won't do much for you if would consider flashing custom roms I would be useful
>>53793092
Custom Roms have little benefit to the mass of instability problems they bring. I would only bother with them if my stock ROM was bloated with garbage or had a shit UI. Most of the features in Roms are available in xposed framework anyway besides customer kernels and low level tweaks.
>>53793020
Adblocking is the last feature that would be difficult to use the phone without. I've stopped caring about UI tweaks
>Bluetooth in your buttplugs
WHY THE FUCK DOES A BUTTPLUG need bluetooth or wifi? what is this world coming too.
pic related.
>>53857094
It's not the first product like this.
My gf and I bought a "weVibe" awhile back.
It has bluetooth and wifi so you have have something resembling long distance sex.

Higher risk of ass cancer than /csg/ sex toys. Would the FCC even approve of this shit?
Why aren't you using the best Source-Based distribution?
>>53856495
CRUX Linux is best too.
>>53856495
Why the fuck would you go source based? Do you like wasting time?
>>53856572
but, it's optimized for your computer.
What happened to Startpage?
It's been returning awful results for about a week now. Is it the merge with ixquick? Has Google done something to mess it up? It used to return the same results as Google, now it's just bad.
Examples;
>wikipedia page for something is usually now on page 2 or even 3
>blog posts or strange sites are top results, actual website for something is down below
>download sites like techspot or cnet are put ahead of github or sourceforge pages
>>53856425
Turn off the family filter. I was getting low quality searches and it fixed it for me.
I'm not sure, Perhaps you could send them an email?
I agree that it has been getting worse somehow. Filter bubble wins.
>>53856425
yeah, i have just switched to google for now. I prsume its google deliberately returning a scrambled order
>Ubuntu is for kids and people unwilling to learn Linux
Well I think it's a great way for people to be introduced to Linux.
>Look at Ubuntu's integration with Amazon and Wikipedia
I get what you're saying b-b-but Canonical has a right to make deals with groups for integration of 3rd parties stuffs.
>So Canonical made a deal to put bash in Win10
..... Fuck Ubuntu.
Yeah, this seems weird, but bash and all the tools that came with it (especially apt)...

Hmm...
Fedora / redhat will probably sell out at some point.
No other distro is big enough to sell out. By design Debian CANNOT be sold out because Debian is not governed by a company.
apt isn't a part of bash.
its a part of *buntu userland by the virtue of *buntu being a debian derived distro but calling it a part of bash shows how much you know about *nix in the first place which is ironic because you call *buntu a noob distro in your OP.
I'm here to introduce you guys to a masturbation technique. It will not leave anything behind, and you won't have to clean up anything afterwards.
By tightly squeezing your urethra or applying pressure to the perineum, your semen will not exit through the urethra as it should, but instead it will go into the bladder
Ancient taoist monks used this exact method to conserve their jing, while still experiencing the pleasure of masturbating.
cool i'll try it tonite in the meantime try my delicious banana cookies recipe it's delicious
don't do this it makes mustard gas
>>53856396
I just did it bro, but some semen still got out ;_;
I actually just got this update
what even the fuck
CNN?
Anyways, post more

Dude you should try Windows 10, it's great. Free, great, faster, more secure. Upgrading is a no-brainer.
>>53856344
Windows 10 is actually pretty nice, and this is coming from a seasoned linux sysadmin with years of experience. You should take advantage of the free upgrade before it expires.

Windows never does this, even when it doesn't have the correct graphics card driver installed. Do freetards even bother to do QA?
>>53856203
>Do freetards even bother to do QA?
Never ever.
Want an example? Try hitting the delete key in files in debian with a file selected.
what is this image supposed to imply when "normies" use similar in principle lock screens for their androids?
>>53856203
You should write "$popular_distro" to avoid shell globing!
So, I was wondering, is there a way (of course there is, but I just don't know it) to fool your current router? For instance, if I decided I wanted to look up Americas favorite Pass-Time (AKA Porn) but I didn't want the guy monitoring the connection in my current living situation to know that's what I was doing, how would I get by? Does Tor fool that kind of thing?
I'm sorry, I am trying to learn but google searches have yielded me little on this subject.
Am hoping information will spew forth like pic related.
Work at work. Porn at home
step 1: be 18 or older
step 2: ???
step 3: profit!
I am 21, And I'm specifically talking about at home. Not going for porn, actually, it was just an example. Trying to get gift for brother but he monitors the traffic right now. He knows I fuck around on 4chan all day though, so he doesn't care about what I do here.
I havent built a computer since 2007
Anything fundamentally wrong? Ofcourse I could shace hundreds from the price. Its a draft fämälämäs
