I attend a large university in Texas. I'm thinking about taking intro to C++ as a summer online course. I am currently in Java, and I feel I've got a good understanding of the syntax as well as some good foundations.
The thing is, I am a fucking hermit and I hate going to class/group projects. I have been to lecture like 3 times this whole semester and I have a high A in the class. Online would eliminate group projects that are face to face and any other social bullshit.
My question is /g/, has anyone taken a 10 week course during the summer for a difficult...

You'd better get over your phobia of interacting with other people or the real world is going to be a rude awakening. Also don't get into the habit of shipping class.

I never think that I should ask strangers if I should get something, instead I fucking consider if I need or want something

>>53867289
I ask strangers shit all the time, only strangers can be trusted to give non-bias advice.

Anyone know the url to the git repo for this neural network image recognition? I've made a computing cluster out of 20 banged up identical laptops and I'd like to give porting it a go.
Otherwise machine learning general

Little more details? Interested in this kind of stuff. Also set up a ghetto cluster for my company. Not as cool as yours, though, just 3 old i7s.

I work at a school and we had over 80 acer e1-531s lying around waiting to be used as parts.
Bunch of them just had damaged chasis and broken hinges because of terrabad hinge design. So I extracted 20 mobos, put 8 gigs of ram in all of them, bought a bunch of 32gb sdcards for cheap, set them to boot with pxe and imaged them with some OSS project called fog.
I've got them hooked to a 24 gig switch and a main server for dhcp, fog. Currently debating on puppet, salt, or chef for live provisioning....

Just your timely reminder that everytime you license something GPL, you lock BSD developers out of it. Please never license anything GPL. Thank you.

You have looked at an item under gpl.
You, everything you've ever touched, made or used is now gpl as well.
You have no rights, no ownership over anything and everything you know is for others to take as they see fit.
Enjoy your - I mean, the public's life.
GPL was deliberately designed that way.
Are there any good 3rd party texting apps?
Not a separate texting app like textnow, one that can replace the stock app.

And if you can convince friends to use signal then you get a special little lock icon next to your messages too to make you feel secure

I've been searching for screws for this graphic card heat sink for years. The fuckwit who had it before me removed them and promptly lost them. Its a Asus AMD Radeon 7770 HD 2GB. Can any one point me in the right direction? thanks
Home Depot
Wait no that's AMD
Couldn't you just take measurements and then put in any old screw that fits?
>>53864244
yes but I'll need to get something accurate enough to take the measurements. This was kindof the last ditch attempt, I even emailed asus and they didn't know the specifications.
