Beat me /g/
Well I have unlimited text/talk in addition to unlimited high speed data. I also only pay $55/month.
But I'm not sure I could get close to using that much data though. Are you able to use your phone as a mobile hotspot and use as much data as you want? The only drawback for me is I only get 8GB of high speed data for mobile hotspot.
>>53879324
not OP but im also on VZW with unlimited data and i can use hotspot all i want but im using a custom rom because stock verizon phones dont allow hotspot unless you pay for it
verizon doesnt give a fuck what i do with my data though

Tl;dr for those not in the loop:
>Telstra has major outages
>Offers a "Free Data Day"
>Old mate downloads 994GB in a day
>People want him to pay for "his crimes"
It's funny to see the disgustingly shit Whirlpool forums having a cry over this, while most normal people simply laughed...

What a shit program, for ignorant web developers.
Tab is so much better.
But I also use space for text alignment after tabs.
Why do some fags insist at using 4 spaces?
Here we can see the average g user in its natural habitat...
Everyone cared about what I use until they found the reindent hot key

This.
If your editor doesn't unfuck indentation for you, you're wasting your time.

I need a laptop. I've had a macbook pro from 2015 for the last few months, but it's not for me. I'm selling it on, and with my money, I am looking at getting a way cheaper laptop, and reinvesting the rest of my money into my desktop rig.
Looking at either the thinkpad X220, with 12gb of ram (upgradeable, of coure), a 500gb SSHD, and the haswell i5, for £250, or the Acer c720 chromebook, which has way weaker specs, but is also around £100 cheaper, and is still generally fast enough for me, while also being a lot lighter than the thinkpad.
I'm...

what is wrong with you
>>53878685
Just stick with the macbook and install gentoo on it.
It's going to be nearly impossible to get any better performance at this point for you and your not gonna get the price your expecting when you resale it.
Also never buy SSHD for a laptop.
>>53878911
OP here, and I don't want the macbook anymore. I'm happy with selling it for £800, coming down from the original £999 price tag, and I already have a buyer, so that's not an issue.
Why never an SSHD?
post pictures of flatshit that actually looks good.

this would be cool ... if phones had any support for OSes outside of Android. Even Ubuntu can't take off

how is it not going to implode on my phone?

Nice and cute, x86, nexus, is nice.
I'm thinking of getting one and using it like a steam link.

Excuse me, but I can't see the big picture here due to all the memes but do people actually unironically swtich to gnu/linux to feel like a special snowflake and do people unironically use KDE,GNOME and Unity?
I switched to linux because I don't like third parties having complete control of my system.
I pretty much have to switch to linux after windows 7 loses support because my comp can't handle the resource requirements 10 needs

So /g/, I'm looking to get into tech stuff and I think I should start with coding. Any suggestions or advice?
