Hey /g/ what's the best VR headset under $100?
I was considering getting the noon but I wanted to hear your inputs.
>tfw a 12yo is more knowledgeable at board repair than you
I want to install a BSD to learn and maybe eventually move away from Linux.
I'm debating between FreeBSD and OpenBSD. Other than go flip a coin is there a reason to pick one over the other?
I could be wrong, but my understanding is freebsd has more packages available, but openbsd is more "secure". I would choose freebsd, at least to get comfy with BSD. Maybe even pc-bsd which is just freebsd preconfigured for desktop usage.
I have carpal tunnel, and need a solution for scrolling. The ergonomic wired mouse I use is fine when I have a desk, but honestly I use my laptop a lot in bed. I've been considering one of those clickers used for presentations, but I wish those had a physical scroll on them for better control. Any suggestions?
I call bullshit.
Get you a hard flat surface like a smooth piece of wood or a pad and move the mouse over that. Your bed can't possibly be small enough to where you lying down leaves not enough room for such a setup to the side of the bed.
>go into webdev course
>the guy uses Mac OS
>selects text with his cursor
>he has a tab called "Productivity Hacks"
Is this why the world is so bad /g/? How would that guy teach anyone anything?
Can you /g/uys sway me to either a GTX 1080 or crossfire RX 480, taking into account all factors, including budget?
If 480 crossfire can really outperform a 1080 like AMD claims, it would be fucking revolutionary for the budget scene, and myself as I'm building a new PC.
Don't bother unless you're into one game that you play 90% of the time like say Battlefield that supports it. Sure you can get better performance than 1080 for less but you can't rely on games supporting crossfire. I say this as someone that had crossfire 290x.
Maybe things will change with DX12 but I wouldn't count on it yet. By the time it does Vega will be out anyway and there will be 480 price drops. So either buy a 480 now and live with the performance and then buy another 480 later or just go for the 1080.
Crossfire works only in select titles, AMD hardware only beats Nvidia when DX12 is involved
Microsoft is looking to make DirectX12 utilize multiple GPUs better
Youre basically taking a bet that all of the games you want to play use DX12
I bought a single 480 with a plan to upgrade to a flagship when this generation is fully fluffed out - so Fury successor/1080ti - and we have a good idea of what parts of the new tech will affect anything in the big picture and what won't, so it's not blind guessing over whether DX12 multigpu will mean anything and so on and on
post the homescreen of whatever device ur using
r8ing not allowed ITT, everyone is welcome
I found a iPod touch in a dumpster while dumpster diving, and I haven't tested it yet. I want to remove this case before I go any further with the iPod touch. How do I take off this petty case?
Touch the paws in the secret order and you should hear a click, then you can easily take it off
What is a DAW?
>What DAW is yours?
>How long you been on it?
>How long have you been into music?
>What genre do you play with the most?
>What Genre do you think you are best at?
>Have you thought about changing up to something else?
>What's your favorite synth, no matter how dumb it is?

This is not easy cause I've done it in the past but the issue is that the VSTs are normally in it's own folders and what not, but if you just reinstall them all you should be fine. If your projects have specific settings, again you should be fine, just make sure whatever you're using in those FLPs or MIDIs or whatever Ableton/FL you're using are installed.
Old thread is nearly dead.
Other thread was by a fucking newfag who doesn't know what a battlestation is.
Let's go lads!
IN YOUR FAVORITE PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, WRITE A PROGRAM THAT DETERMINES THE NUMBER OF DIGITS OF AN ARBITRARY INPUT INTEGER
OR THIS BIRD IS GONNA STAB YOU
Do you agree that open source developers should be more considerate, even when they have no feelings for other human beings, or should they be free to ban everyone who ever suggests a new feature to their projects and get away with it?
I've seen an r9 nano for 350
currently have a gtx 970
would it be a good idea to buy now & sell the 970 for 200-240?
First time building a computer. I'm going to build it sometime in september so the final price will hopefully be cheaper if i can find some good deals. Thoughts?
Here you go. Much better monitor, and just in general all around better part selection for things.
