Why don't they replace this with an extra 2.5in slot for more storage? Does anyone still use CDs anymore? They're pretty much obsolete.
I actually saw a guy complaining on Facebook that Windows 10 no longer supports two kinds of disk DRM and he can't play his old games anymore. I thought the same thing,,, I hadn't used my DVD drive in like four years, so I took it out of my system and sold it. I think that dude probably just wanted a reason to hate on Windows 10, though.
But yeah, fuck CDs and DVDs. Who needs that shit when you can get a 16GB flash drive for like $10 or less?
ASUS ultrabooks don't have CD slots. Waste of space indeed, rather but more storage or something.
Also what about batteries? Are there companies that make laptops without batteries? I think 99% of the time I am close to power supply, and laptop batteries are shit anyways
What went wrong?

Which OS are you using for Desktop /g/?
Why do people on /g/ deny that qBittorrent stalls your torrents when dozens of users have reported this problem to the project page and the project maintainer acknowledges it as a problem and is currently offering people test builds to try and solve the stalling problem?
Linux has been co-opted.
Why is everyone hyped about the raspberry pi?
It's not even made in China and it's not even cheap and you can't even do anything cool with it.
Why didn't the Teensy or Arduino blow up so big?

ITT: red flags when applying for a position
>devops (we don't want to pay for people to take care of our infrastructure)
>scrum or any other form of micromanagement (we don't trust you and don't have the appropriate means to identify who's working and who's not with appropriate deliveries and goals)
>we have rooms with videogames/ping pong tables/places to rest or any similar bullshit (we expect you to work beyond your 8 hour shift and often to not go home)
>we only hire people who fit the company culture (we want you to bend over so we can pay you less and you have to pretend you like it)
