Is vaping out of control?
Should vaping be banned in public places?
Should vapers be sent to concentration camps?
How about the people wearing Gear VR in public?
Sure its a mouth fedora and makes you look stupid. But the whole point of restricting smoking in public places is the negative effects of secondhand smoke, and vaping solves that problem, so let people do it.

Using the command line scares me. I'm not even trolling. I'm pretty shitty at typing and there's just so many commands to memorize. I'm generally more comfortable with GUIs. Are there tools for Linux noobs to gain better confidence with the command line? Otherwise, I'll stick with my Windows 10 botnet forever.
I did the supposedly "free" upgrade to Windows 10 a few weeks back, but now I have some Indian dude calling me saying my free trial of Windows 10 is over and if I don't give them my credit card number to pay for it I won't be able to use my computer anymore. Is this legitimate? How the fuck does Microsoft get away with this? I never saw anything about any trial or having my computer locked down if I don't pay when I agreed to the upgrade.
You don't need to memorize all the commands... Just look up the ones you need as you need them. Eventually you'll remember the ones you use more often. When you don't remember it's almost always easy to just google it.
How can I make my own operating system?
It's C$399.99 in Canada ($312 in US dollars).
Amazon has gone full crazy and decided $290 is a reasonable price to charge for a 6'' e-book reader.
The cover is not included.
What cheap Chinese tech have you bought, and would you recommend it?
Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on eBay, AliExpress, Gearbest and similar sites.

What do you think about iPhone users and what type of people use iphones ?
I don't care. I treat them like any other human being as long as they don't try to push their brand upon me like some kind of religion.
Apple shills are no worse/better than Samsung or any other brand shills.
Post 'em. Only post calculators you personally own. I'll go first.

is there any better deal for a 128GB microSDXC card that has 90+ MB/s write? or should I jump on this deal while it's running on Samsung's site?
Okay, I'm using an old HTC One S right now that's just begun to shit the bed last month. Should I get an iPhone SE or pony up a little more cash and buy an older generation Android flagship?
Why do people un-ironically buy android phones like the Nexus 6P?
All android phones literally get OTA updates.
Why do people willingly fuck themselves over with such shitty phones? Why don't they just stop the foreplay and let apple fuck them in the ass if they hate expandable storage so much.
pic related is under $100 and has up to 90MB/s transfer speed.
Shills. There's actually a very low, but loud amount of Nexus owners on here.
I'm a moderator on a fairly large tech site and most comments praising these Huaweis, Xiaomis and Nexus phones have Indian and Thai IP addresses.
>All android phones literally get OTA updates.
The frequency of those updates all depends on the brand and carrier.
Back when i had a galaxy s4, samsung would release an update like once a season, then with tmobile, i'd have to wait for them to shit it up with bloatware and make sure it was stable after all that nonsense to get it on my phone. i got maybe 2 updates in a years time with that phone, and both of them were shit. Ended up trying my best to get cm running on it, and even then, nightlies were the only thing worth running on there.
no idea how frequent the updates from brands and carriers are now, since i've had a oneplus one for a while now and use community developed roms that get updated weekly.
Is there a case more iconic than this one?
Picked up one of these at a thrift store today for $60. It works and successfully boots to its desktop.
Never owned a Mac before. What should I do with it?
