The recipe could include a free Javascript program I could run, or it could consist of instructions for what I would type into IceCat (our variant of Firefox). It doesn't have't be super convenient, it just has to work.
1) do people actually do this shit for him?
2) should his fat ass really be spending enough time at mcdonalds to where he needs the wifi?

When did you grow out of communism and it's special snowflake variants like socialism?
It was 16 for me. I was kinda late and even at 15 I thought we needed a gommunist revolution
Dear /g/, serious question.
When the fuck and why the fuck did computer science become a meme degree full of retards? How did one of the purest degrees get tainted with standard lowering retards?
Somebody please explain...
(PS Im not a CS major Im just shocked at how memey the degree has become)
>>54083773
It's been like that since the 90s, so don't be that shocked. If you wanted in on the awesomeness you should've jumped in the CS train in the 70s.
>>54083837
Is engineering a meme degree?
>>54083773
>purest degrees
It was never a pure degree. Back in the days people got a degree in mathematics. In the late 70s and early 80s universities began making "math lite" aka CS.

Good morning my Japanese friends
Anyone else using clover when lurking 4chan?
And if so, how do you clear the cache on it?
Same way you clear the cache on any android app y'dummy
No, i don't browse the Internet like a neanderthal over a small smartphone screen.
Rm -rf sdcard Android org.floens. Chain
Whatever you should be able to figure that out
List 5 advantages your favourite language has over Python 3
Go:
- statically typed
- more regular syntax
- more performant for the same "real-world" applications that both get uses for (web services etc)
- better concurrency model
- universal One True FormatĀ® (no tab-space wars etc)
Python's literal single, indefeasible niche is scientific computing, and usage by non-programmer scientists.

What are you working on /g/?
This is the exact same thread I was about to make, filename and all.
I'm making a socket library in C to do stockfighter challenges and was wondering if it's good practice for a library to return a malloced string or to accept a buffer.
Just finished my heap-less JSON formatting project on my microcontroller.
It's as beautiful as it sounds.
Post your Arch related images in this tread

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to have Babycakes from China IL in the logo instead?
He seems like an arch user anyways.

Want to buy a new battery for my W520, going to get a genuine Lenovo battery, but what's the difference between the 55+ and 70++ 9 cell batteries? Does the 70++ hold a longer charge?
Also anyone know of a 1080p IPS screen swap for the W520? The default TN screen isn't that bad, but an IPS one would be ideal.
Which one of you anon's replace your ThinkPad hinges?
I can steal one, possibly two of these from work but they're bitlocker encrypted. Will swapping the HDD out get around that, or would the BIOS still be locked?
I maintain lainchans Xserve cluster. AMA..

Pic related. Greatest terrorist of the 21st century.
Technology to use if you're a Terrorist:
smartphone: Samsung KNOX Android
desktop/laptop: hardened Debian
server: OpenBSD
Any RaspberryPi kit can be used to wire up a bomb.
Do not use Windows 10, because if you accidentally upload terrorist stuff to OneDrive you ass will be in Gitmo before Friday prayers. The "telemetry" might also incriminate you since the US government likes to read everything on Microsoft's...

Anyone still holding strong and haven't fallen for the SSD meme yet?
I'd prefer not to lose my data to spontaneous NAND failure.
>>54067500
Me. But it's not just reliability... After all, you get bad HDD's too. (Seagate anyone?)
It's also about $/GB, and SSD's just don't match up price-wise to HDD's yet. Eventually, they will, and when they do, I'll probably switch... If the reliability is there.
>>54067681
And it's also about $/Speed. You obviously never had any contact with an SSD.
I fell for the ssd meme a long time ago and honestly feel bad for people who didn't.

Take a look at this image. It's not the typical fare. The complication or mechanism we're looking at is called a "wandering" or "floating" hour display.
Here is an image that more directly shows you how the wondering hour works. The correct hour is the only part normally seen when covered, and the rest are underneath.
There is 3 wheels with 4 hours on each of them. The main part of the mechanism turns, changing which wheel is visible, and the wheels turn changing which hour is visible.
show em, post em.
