This is huge: turns out adblock blockers are illegal in the EU under the same law that prevents websites from setting cookies etc. without explicit consent:

Since today is rainy where I live, i took the time to clean and refresh the thermal paste on my CPU.
Also, this is now the 4th time I check, thanks to /g/, and the bend meme did not happen.
Question is, where were you when you realized that your thermal paste change is overdue?
It's been 5 and a half years now.
Where the FUCK are rotating heatsinks?
I've had this mouse for 4 weeks now but I just can't get used to it for the life of me, it's too big and I have to hover my wrist to hold it which makes said wrist hurt after an hour of using it.
Can you recommend me something similar? Doesn't have to be wireless but I'd appreciate if it was.
Also mouse thread
Arguments about Uber being better than taxis are stupid. Uber is no more than a taxi-company like the rest of them, and the stuff that makes Uber stand out above the rest in terms of customer-support, service-mindedness and pricing is just misconpetions, wishful thinking and marketing. It has nothing to do with Uber beeing anything else than a taxi-company.
Prove me wrong.
Protip: you can't.
Why do you fat losers obsess over laptops when you never go anywhere?
A proper desktop is cheaper and more powerful.
I assume this is pretty accurate.
Pros: Tons of support and user friendly
Cons: Fork everything, used to be spyware
Pros: Stable and everybody loves it
Cons: Can be a hassle for new people and nonfree drivers are kind of a pain
Pros: Yast, cool mascot and works great with KDE
Cons: Yast and the support can be hard to find.
Pros: Bleeding edge and has great GNOME support. Red Hat testbed.
Cons: Can be unstable and lacking in packages. Red Hat testbed.
Pros: Pretty damn fast, tons of customization.
Cons: Can be difficult for new people and some might dislike the package manager
The move to Unity, Mir and such. They have a habit of taking what they like and forking it to their own stuff.
Spyware stuff with the older versions because it used to phone your search's home to Amazon. Now you can opt into that, but its not enabled by default.
Okay /g/, I love Google Chrome, but I want to stop sucking Mother Google's teat (at least on my desktop). I'm on Linux what should I switch over to? Post your favorite browser
