my sound blaster zx is what's keeping me from using linux full time. its been out since 2012 and linux has zero support for it. my onboard audio is absolute garbage compared to it and i don't want to clutter my desk with more junk like an external dac.
what's a good alternative pci-express based card that provides the same level or better audio quality as my blaster zx but also has fantastic linux support?

thanks for the weird boner btw

Just install Spybot Anti-Beacon and keep Windows.

That kid has a hot sister.
Youtube using html5 is hitting 100% cpu usage when using an i5 520m. wtf. Also just a shitton of stuttering in general on windows 7.
/g/ I messed around with thinkpads, why the fuck is it doing this. The only thing I replaced was a 250GB 7200RPM harddrive for a 500GB 5400 RPM harddrive.
That's what happens when you refuse to use post-T420 chinkpads because
>muh keyboard
enjoy faggot
RIP in peace OP.
Why didn't you replace the hdd with an ssd instead?
i have a long night of programming in front of me

I'm looking for a simple, reliable and cheap MP3 player. I remember hearing good things about the Sansa Clip+ but the days when it was dirt cheap are over. What are other alternatives?
Just use your phone, holy shit.
>>54244489
I cannot comprehend this autism.
To op: Sansa disk clip plus is godtier, try to get one. Any new product of theirs such as sport plus will do the job just fine
>>54244489
Are you one of those people who gets mad at people wearing watches?
Having a separate player has its advantages, especially if you need to or simply prefer conserving the phone's battery for the longest time possible.

This is different than any Linux distribution I've ever come across. I love it.
Debian minimal doesn't come with sudo either. It's just a normal package that you install like any other package, and most distros tend to include it by default since it's extremely useful.
>>54244027
I just assumed it was a standard part of Linux. That came with every distro.

Anyone here learned to touch type and how fast can you do it? Does it require constant practice or once you learned it are you set for lyfe?
>>54242034
You can get pretty rusty like I am, but I'm definitely faster than Index McGee. It takes practice to keep yourself at the higher end of the WPM range.
I touch type at around 50-70 wpm. You will get a little rusty without practice but you will pick it back up quickly. Best thing to do is avoid ever not touch typing when using a keyboard and you will stay quick.
>>54242034
100WPM here. I use a computer all the time so I never fall that bad out of practice. My typing isn't "textbook" touch typing but its pretty close

For me it usually says $5 or something like that, followed by "that's right, for the price of a cup of coffee". It always annoys me, if you consider $5 the price of a cup of coffee I'm not sure if I want to donate to you, wikipedia.
