Does windows movie maker work on windows 10? Any alternatives I should look at too?
Any free VPN that isn't complete utter shit? Day by day it seems VPNs are turning into a necessity because le cyber criminals are after your ass 24/7, or at least that's what it is starting to feel like these days. I hope I don't sound like a total newfag asking this question, because I probably do.
MySQL purposely makes SQL injection possible. The NSA monitors all concat/union commands to gain whatever information script kiddies have. Microsoft Edge purposely downgraded security setting that where in Internet Explorer. Intel suppresses "Buffer overflow proof processors."
Prove me wrong.
SQL injection is possible because of shitty connectors that take raw input. Not because of the application itself. It'd be the same problem if you tried to pipe raw, unsanitized, user input into BASH something similar as part of your application.
My room mate is having a huge issue with his computer being that he can't install Overwatch, the game he is most excited for. The problem being is that it says it needs to be a 64 bit OS in order to run it, although he has Windows 7 64 bit edition installed
The customer support from Blizzard said that it might be that he doesn't have the proper updates installed on 7, so he tried updating. However, he learned that his computer is not properly installing updates and hasn't been for like 5 months.
Is there a solution to a problem like this? The troubleshooting...

Plenty of things could have gone wrong. Does he have a decent anti-virus?
Have you tried a registry fix?
Are you certain that you've tried ALL the MS solutions (there are a BUNCH)?
Have you tried System Restoring windows to a time earlier than the last time it updated?
If you're gonna resist the easy solution, expect it to take time. The fact that YOU are the one asking makes me believe that you trying to fix the problem for him. If that's the case, make sure you charge for it.
Otherwise, it isn't your problem.
I'm looking for a new laptop that's light, has 16GB of RAM, and has a SSD.
Alternatively, it doesn't have to come with 16GB of RAM, if it gives me the ability to install my own RAM and SSD(which many companies are preventing me from doing so because soldered RAM).
Wheres the exe nerds?!!!!

Hey guys so I created a Text Encrypting program called "Silent Fish".
- 260 character key
- Adds random characters in the Encrypted text that does not affect the plain text (Which makes it hard to crack by analyzing)
- Single character translation to encrypted character can vary.
- " character is not recognized
- If too much text plugged in program may crash.
Link to download if interested:

Where did it all go wrong
they didnt build upon chromium and fixed its issues.
all they did is made a new ui based on node js which is fairly buggy and slow.
they could have made something good but choose the wrong direction.
Hey /g/, first year CS major here. Finals are coming up and I'm in the process of studying. What's the best way to study for a computer science exam?
Exams are given on paper and require hand written coding. (stupid imo).
We are learning C++. What are some good resources I can utilize? What would be the best way to study? So far I've been going over old projects and making little programs for each specific topic we are covering. I NEED to do well on this exam. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks /g/.
YLYL /g/ style
Alright, here's a question someone here can probably help me out with. I have a Samsung galaxy s4 and I really don't like S voice. I like the general idea and all but talking to my phone just seems ridiculous to me personally. Is there any way I could do it with text? Rather than out loud saying "play _____ song." Just type it out instead and have it happen just as quickly? It would be a major help for me.
Grandpa, what was Windows like?
What's the best alternative to the 13 inch MacBook Pro?
