Hello /g/entlemen. I managed to get my hands on a Windows XP Professional operating system, but I have a 64 bit processor. Is there any way I can still use this?
>>54405697
should also mention I'm running linux mint 54 bit. Can I still run this in a virtual machine?
>>54405697
Yes you can run it in a VM.
>>54405697
64bit architecture is compatible with 32bit OS

what the different between an i7 processor vs. a 2016 i7 processor
>>54405489
There is no 2016 Macbook Pro 15", the last one still uses Haswell CPU and outdated GPU.
It's in desperate need of update, do not buy.
Bot's and Spiders are all over the internet, Allot of websites are content based and have videos and images that they don't want others to just scrape easily.
My idea is simple Take a button with the ID of "Cat" a bot will click on the button by targeting the ID of "Cat" Simple right?
Now what if the code was polymorphic and after every 10 minutes it changed the ID to a random string and loaded the source code with as many fake buttons as it could(each with their own scrambled strings)
Why wouldn't it work?
>>54405473
Because emulating browsers with Selenium or running JavaScript manually which modifies a DOM structure is a thing.
You could just check which button has a style which results in it being visible and click on that. Additionally you don't have to use the ID directly, more elaborate XPath and CSS selectors are a thing buddy.
>>54405537
Yeah i understand that, that's why i stated adding fluke buttons,
If the main button was say a card, after 10 minutes you put the "card" into a deck of fluke buttons this would screw with css selectors and xpath
>>54405566
If the user on the website can tell which button he is supposed to click, so can a script. You might as well hide all buttons then and fuck your user.
That's always the path which a bot uses. Puzzle captchas are your best bet currently.
every day a speccy thread, wondering why no one uses userbenchmark? it takes into account any overclocks you have for a better comparison..
Is it a shitty scale?
Why?
>>54405449
It tells you just how bad you lost (or won) the silicon lottery, just how bad your build sucks, and causes too much tears, butthurt and analrange.

see I always though speccy was just because of the freetard element in /g/
it is good at an overall snapshot of your system but it's constantly bugged, won't recognize ddr4 properly and doesn't show specific versions of hardware

Just bought a 64GB SD card from Amazon. I'm trying to test if it's a fake, but don't have a pc, only a phone. I installed the SD Insight app, but it says the card is unknown. Apparently if it's unknown, then it's supposed to be fake.
Except the card I purchased from Amazon had a ton of good reviews.
I'm obviously can only do limited testing without a pc, but I did take a 1.5MB picture and duplicate it a bunch of times. Took over an hour, but I've got the card sitting at about 90% capacity with a shitload of duplicate images. I...

>Just bought a 64GB SD card from Amazon. I'm trying to test if it's a fake
Copy 60 gigabytes data to it? You won't actually be able to fit 64gb because all types of storage will cuck you out of a little bit.
>>54404948
>63GB
>not 64GB as advertised
It's fake dude.
I guess this is a weird thing to ask in 2016, but I need help with my Zune HD.
It's a 32 GB device. I've only used 7 GB of space on it, but when I connect it to my computer, it tells me it has 0 GB of free space, so it won't let me add any new files. I thought I could just reinstall the firmware and hope for the best. Trouble is, when I tried that, the download of the newest firmware couldn't even start since Microsoft no longer provides any official support for Zune stuff.
What should I do?
>tfw headphone plug is starting to go
Anyway, dont know what to tell you anon, isn't there a delete all content button somewhere,think I remember that.
>>54404959
There is a way to nuke all the content, but it's a hard reset still, so you'd have to reinstall the firmware anyway.
I found a tutorial and a download link to the latest firmware. I'll try to work with it.

>>54404774
They're shameless about trying to get what they want. This is actually a good trait. It's the same inside universities too. All of the Indians I know have absolutely no fear of asking questions in large lecture halls, and this is while knowing their English isn't perfect.
>>54404796
They're literally asking for finished homework or project to steal is different than having doubts in some topic.
>>54404836
They're not stealing it to submit, they just want to use it or know how to do it.
So I'm building a Closed-Source software that executes a GPL Open-Source sotware to retrieve data into a variable (result). Am I allowed to be doing this and still remain Closed-Source? It doesn't use any of the GPL software's source code, just executes and reads the output of the binary.using (Process p = new Process()) {
p.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false;
p.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = true;
p.StartInfo.FileName = OpenSourceSoftware.exe;
p.StartInfo.Arguments = args;
p.Start();
p.WaitForExit();

ianal, but i'd say yes. As far as I understand it, for the GLP to "spread" into your code (hence the "GLP acts like cancer"), you'd have to link your code and the GPL code (i.e. to call methods of some GPL library from your code). Not sure if you're allowed to package/distribute them together though.
