what do /g/fags know about nvidia's volta? 2018?
/g/ knows much. Tells some.
What do you offer in exchange?
"big" Volta is going to appear in the Summit supercomputer Oak Ridge National Laboratory (probably late 2017)... consumer gamer Volta... probably in summer 2018
so I paid 400 fucking dollas for an android with no gyroscope and I can't see my pokemons (it's a galaxy core and I had to buy it with urgency).
Is there anyway to work around that? is there external gyroscope I can put on my phone or something? Buying another expensive phone is out of question.

Hello. Is there some kind of GRATIS online Twitter automatization tool, to make easier to reply to many tweets of the same topic sequentially? I don't know if IFTTT could do this.
It would not be a full-bot. This would be strange and dumb. But something easier than reading everyday and replying by copypasting and editing messages...

There aren't many /g/ related documentaries, but this one is well made. A strong 8/10 from me.
Also, I must say, Stuxnet (olympic games) is one brilliant work of art. It's...just amazing.

Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician of about a decade.
Would like to know what kind of schooling would be best to further my career.
Thinking of going in the direction of SS7, TCP/IP, thorough understanding of Hardware/Firmware/Software used in the communications industry including everything on the external network side of modems.
I am starting study for IT security in the fall. Any books that you would recommend before then?

Discuss killer robots itt
I think it is a natural progression.
I would like to take warfare back to the good old days where battles happened in open fields and only the civilians on the loosing side were raped/sold as slaves.
But that is not happening anymore.
An impressive army is not so because of how many troops you have, but how skilled the individuals are.
But often you can avoid casualties by having planes to take out big threats, now these planes are remote controlled.
As long as they have a cost, I don't think they will have an endless supply.
And as long as these robots are a limited resource, I don't fear them being turned on me.
In the case of the racist cop killer, I think that is a fine example if when it should be used. He was alone (so a bomb was acceptable) and he was a threat (so a robot was acceptable).
I don't think it is a recurring situation as these nuts often take hostages.
I would love to see a system with a self targeting tranquilizer move in and put people to sleep, but Americans would probably prefer to shoot to kill.
Alright /g/, I'd like to get into programming, whats the best language to start out in, I don't care what I'm doing, just the languages that will be helpful in the long run.
