because I happen to work in the same building as a company that is working on verizon's lines.
I'm just a fucking hosted pbx installer for a completely separate company. I don't want anything to do with this shit.
how do I not get beat up by angry Verizon workers /g/? There were 20 of them screaming shit all day.
>>54470824
Ignore them because you're not a scab...
You fucking install PBXs for another company, you literally have nothing to do with Verizon or their employees.
If you have the option, wear a shirt or something that has your company's name on it so it's clear you're not part of their affairs.

Shoot those gommies right in the face. It's your duty as an American citizen.
>>54470883
The issue is that we both share the same office space. The retards infront of our office can't tell the difference. The uniform option might be a good idea though.
Hello /g/
I stole a box of my grandma's old floppy drives. I found a red one, a blue one, and a yellow one.
I'm gonna load each one up with the appropriate Pokemon rom, a save file, and I'm also looking to squeeze in an emulator if I can.
I'm looking at a max of 397 KB for the emulator. Sadly, bgb is 398 KB even without the 5 KB config file.
Also if anyone knows any gameboy emulator that is close enough in size and is open source, I can tear out some unneeded junk to make it fit.
>>54470810
OP here, I have a correction.
With the save file, I only have 366 KB to work with.
My bad.
>>54470810
Did you tried using compressed romz to clear up space for an emu?
>>54470810
You're lucky if they even work.

TRIGGERED
Hypothetically, since the current gen consoles are so close to "off the shelf" PCs, could you make slight modifications to the Xbox One or PS4 operating system to install it on a virtual machine? Could you actually get it to play games correctly like that?
>>54470617
>since the current gen consoles are so close to "off the shelf" PCs
they are not.
emulators for LAST-GEN consoles (PS3, 360) barely exist and won't run commercial games, these things are like 10 years old
CURRENT-GEN consoles are even more divergent and may not be emulated ever during their market lifetime
>>54470673
But last gen consoles used weird, custom CPUs and stuff. This generation, it's just slightly modified AMD chips from what I understand. Shouldn't that make emulation easier, DRM measures aside?
>>54470617
Not that simple anon.
Especially with the xbone, there are several heartaches that prevent any form of modifications.
Server-side shit, encryption-shit, binary-shit, the whole cabob.
The xbox one doesnt even have it's OS on the harddrive, its hosted on a separate onboard chip.
Maybe eventually we'll have an emulator but no time soon, is my guess.
I wanted to invest in a pair of cameras for my house.
Does anyone have experience with buying surveillance cameras? I'm hoping to find ones that use private IPs and can connect to routers wirelessly.

I'm not sure how secure most wifi cams are.
>>54470600
they connect to your router so they all have private IP's.

Would any of you guys know why my Lenovo DC power jack keeps burning?
The part that connects to the motherboard keeps burning and I've replaced the jack 3 times now with no success. When I replace it everything works fine for about a month and a half to two months then it just burns up.
OP here.
I also forgot to mention that the only way to get the laptop to start charging is by taking the back plate off and removing the battery then putting it back in while it's plugged into the wall.
>>54470595
are you using a Lenovo charger or some cheap knock off
>>54470686
actual Lenovo charger. I even borrowed my roommates charger and battery (we have the same laptop) and neither fixed the problem.
Let's talk refrigerators.
Mine just busted to shit over the weekend while I was gone so all my food went to waste (I had just gone to Costco too and spent $300 for nothing now.)
I had an okay refrigerator that I bought used for cheap but can't say if I bad to buy it again that I would. So I come to you guys.
I'd like:
- water and ice dispenser
-Freezer preferably on top
-no side by side doors where the freezer is on the side
Budget is $500-$1300
Im sure some of you are thinking refrigerator shopping...
