What are the similarities and differences of Microsoft Windows and openSUSE Linux?
Completely different kernel, filesystem, supported and built in applications...
Really, there aren't too many similarities not common to all commercial operating systems.

Are there motherboards really good?
do they really increase a videogame performance?
Don't know if they increase performance but I've used Gigabyte for years and the only problem I've ever had was when one of the boards BIOS was corrupted. It had the dual BIOS feature though so it was fine.

Kek gigabyte. You cant make this up.
Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

I recognize that owl. You posted yesterday too!
What cable is that?
I just released v0.3.2 of my multi-threaded platform-agnostic CPU-based tripcode searcher!
On older architectures, it should run at least 10% faster than the previous version!
https://github.com/microsounds/tripforce
It also makes a nice benchmark!
Here's some random xeon system running on 32 threads at once!TRIP: '!aKaRIjHnQw' -> PASS: 'Mtw,"xl[' @ 4.10 mTrip/s
TRIP: '!AKarIMLuzE' -> PASS: '1|P?HKg%' @ 4.14 mTrip/s
TRIP: '!IcaKaRiY3A' -> PASS: 'U$)$Ka5e'...

Maybe some people have a fuckton of CPU power without the need for a beefy GPU?
So I created this chat room for people to join and share knowledge. I want to make a cyber security group. If you are interested here is the link:
http://www.chatzy.com/75816125704324
What are you doing? We already have 4chan
Yeah but this is another chat room. 4chan is great and all, but I want to create a group so I want to find good people to join my group.

What the hell are you talking about
Hey plebs, look what i just got to upgrade my Mac.
Feels good to get superior $200 8GB RAM compared to all you PC losers.
Must suck to be so poor you can't even afford high quality Mac memory.
>>54484491
Poor bait
>>54484491
I mean, it's ECC RAM so it's only 100% higher priced than normal
pretty typical of prebuilt companies
>>54484532
ECC RAM is cheaper than standard RAM because of server leases.
can someone explain to me what the fuck is happening to my wireless signal?
>>54484435
I don't know, it looks happy
>>54484435
interference and probably youre too far away also poor channel optimization
>>54484435
it is telling you to stop looking at the wireless signal, because you are retard pro edition.
So guys I'm looking to replace my motherboard but I need some help choosing one. I have a perfectly valid reason for doing this so let's keep that out of the conversation.
I want something newer and that I can eventually stick the new GTX 1080 in. But I want something that will work well with that and my i7 processor. Any recs?
why do you want to replace your motherboard OP
>>54484401
what socket?
>>54484416
It is essentially broken/shorted out. Can only run 4gigs of RAM because the rest of the slots are shorted out (yes I tried moving them around) and cause the computer to spazz out and turn off by itself every 20 minutes or so. Even running on 4gigs, rebooting sometimes takes several minutes as it goes on a reboot loop occasionally. It's a broken piece of garbo that needs to be replaced before it destroys everything.
Anyone else running linux? Can someone tell me what is wrong with the following command.
echo d2dldCAtcSAiaHR0cDovL3d3dy5waXhlbHNpdGUuaW5mby90cmFjay90MjcyODAuZ2lmIiB8IGVjaG8gIlRoYXQgY291bGQgaGF2ZSBiZWVuIGJhZCI= | base64 -d | sh

needs to be -D
When I write the LISP how I keep the track of the parenthesis?
The parenthesis is every where.

Your text editor should be able to keep track for you. Use vim. By the way, if you refuse to use the better tool just count the parens. Every ( increments and every ) decrements. If you have more than 0 you know you fucked up. It also helps to indent properly.

was wondering if any of you guys could help. the electric lighters on my gas stove make my mouse cut out for about 10-15 seconds almost anytime someone uses them. this isn't always a problem but when i'm playing a game it can ruin everything and just get me pissed off and with 5 other people living in the house i don't really have control over when the stove gets used. doesn't seem to matter which mouse/usb port i use and it being on the same fuse as the stove hasn't changed anything

bump. anyone?
Why do people listen to this guy about technology and gaming nostalgia when he wasn't born until the 80s were almost over and wasn't old enough to remember anything worthwhile about the 90s?
because his content is quality.
>>54484166
It's full of inaccuracies because he rarely knows anything about it, and the parts that aren't are straight off of Wikipedia.
Seriously, check for yourself next time.
