Is there a way to rip hardcoded subs from a video into a .srt file?
Have tried subrip and avisubdetector, without any success
Sure, I hope you know image processing, how to program and have a lot of free time.
>>54498492
Hardcoded...You mean rendered into the video? Listen, just cave and write it up from scratch yourself cause you won't have any success doing what you're asking.
That's like asking if there's any way to rip layers from a .jpg.

but anon, I appreciated the logic within its bits and not its specs - the actual machine has little to do with my appreciation.
Much like with human beings anon, it's not the enveloppe that counts but rather the thoughts.

Sounds like their servers are having issues. I used the media creation tool to make a ISO, burned it, and have clean installed it on several PCs so far. I suggest clean installing.
I literally installed Windows 10 today and it went fast. It may be your PC.
>>54498426
unless you do a clean install you are looking for trouble
Are companies that offer to get you back links for your website legit?
Manually I could get maybe 20-50 back links.
A competitor's company of the same size has 5,000 as they paid someone to do it.
Should I pay someone else also?
It will be £200 + another £20 per month minimum
>>54498287
no, backlinks like that will get you blacklisted.
>>54498309
That's what I'm thinking, but this company has 5,000 and are substantially higher in the search results than myself.
>>54498366
depends on the links, but even if they are high quality (which I doubt, since you get 5000 of them), google will black list you if you dont already have high ranked sites.
those link exchange sites are used for links to youtube, facebook and other highranked sites which are not in risk of getting blacklisted.
I would advise you, build those links slowly up.
also, do you know on which sites those backlinks will be posted?
Timing.
Benefits compared to upgrading costs.

incompatible with x86 code
Poor performance compared to competition, high power consumption, high heat output.
Then it got killed Redhat and Microsoft who dropped support for it.
The only OSes working on them are HP-UX and SLE for legacy reasons.
What Greasemonkey/TamperMonkey(tm) scripts do you guys use?
I personally only use the mouseover image viewer, makes 4chan and reddit browsing much better, same with most everything. But I'm wondering what else are some good Quality of Life scripts.
Violentmonkey, just because is the best in Opera

Why does /g/ hate Mint? I've been using Mint KDE for a few years and recently switched to Cinnamon. Is it because it's a babby's first Linux?
It's because their website was compromised one time for a period of less than a day.
Because g is poltards while Mint is made by a leftie.
no e-peen growth by using mint so you gotta shit on it to impress anonymous people on 4chan
Hey /g/ I'm in the market for a laptop since my current one is slowly dying.
Problem is, I need a small one, none of that 15,6 shit. The one I have is an Asus 1215b with a 12,1" screen which is perfect for me.
So I am looking for something with

Why does everyone hate Kali Linux so much?
Is it not viable for pentesting and learning pentesting?
>>54497232
everyone hates its users that don't know anything and just relay on other people tools
kali as distro just includes every tool you're gonna need -- nothing great that has to be talked about
>>54497306
I'm a beginner in the pentesting linux world, i was a scriptkiddie five years ago.
If i actually want to learn something, where do i go? and what do i use?

Why don't you actually try using kali and stop asking to be spoonfed?
>2016

>>54497229
Is it just missing drivers? Why can't devs just copy paste the drivers from Linux over to Hurd and build some sort of abstraction layer like WINE?

>Google comes up with new emoji to better represent working women
https://archive.is/xJH7L
>Highlights
The Unicode Consortium added a broader spectrum of skin tones last year, but the team from Google is now pushing for equal representation of men and women:
"We suggest decoupling the gender-neutral representation of emoji from this proposal. We would encourage other members of Unicode to join us in creating a system of emoji design that can accommodate a broader gender spectrum.
