Is there any way to fix a stripped screw hole in GPU PCB?
I'm trying to tighten the heatsink but one of the screws just keeps turning.
>>54517891
get a smaller screwdriver, one that actually fits
or get a screwdriver that strips the screw and makes a new head, fucking your shit up even worse
>>54517891
Yeah. With a hammer.
Get an appropriately sized tap.

Fucking disgusting. Grab a book on OpenGL and get "Effective C++" that covers C++11, that's all you need. If you don't know C++ then pick up the Straustrup book.

I disagree. Something fun should be done first, to satisfy the initial curiosity and provide continuing motivation.

Guys, I hope this happened because I've had no sleep, but I had a bit of duck tape that I cut off a strip I used for a good reason because I tried to just tear it off and the duck tape was kinda too tough for that and so it ended up uneven so I cut it off with a pair of scissors but that's not the point I stuck the little uneven left over bit on the table, and you know how when you're really tired and trying to concentrate but can't you end up basically doing weird repetitive actions as you try to get your thoughts in an order.
So i started stroking the bit of duck tape on the table with my fingers and the silvered side of the duck tape felt really weird but fun to stroke so I did the natural thing of whipping my dick out and rubbing my cock head against the bit of tape and it didn't chafe and felt REALLy good so I kept up.
Any way, to cut a long story short I may have discovered a use for duck tape that involves something moving rather than being held in place and it felt wonderful.
Current thought is that if you maybe cut a toilet roll rube open, duck taped the insides then sort of duck taped it closed again to a better diameter it'd make a decent onahole, has anyone else experimented with duck tape based sexual pleasure devices that knows a better design to go with to utilise this hitherto unknown (to me at least) utility for duck tape?

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) are created by applying the principles of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) - the spontaneous creation of a wireless network for data exchange - to the domain of vehicles. They are a key component of intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
Example applications of VANETs are:
Electronic brake lights, which allow a driver (or an autonomous car or truck) to react to vehicles braking even though they might be obscured (e.g., by other vehicles).
Platooning, which allows vehicles to closely (down to a few inches) follow a...

Why did AMD stop updating the FX lineup with their new generations of cores?
From 2013-2016 they remained on 32nm Piledriver.
IPC gains were far too small, nobody would have bought them, they would have lost money.
>>54517418
Do you really want a CPU that tops the 250W draw from a 9590?
Pretty soon we have dedicated CPU power supplies!
>>54517418
Because it's a waste of money. They're waiting until Zen is ready to start updating their performance desktop lineup again.
Am I retarded?
If A = [3, 8, 9, 7, 6] and K = 3, shouldn't the function return [7, 6, 3, 8, 9] (as opposed to the instructions in pic related)?

Nobody on /g/ uses garbage open source software like gimp or Linux. We all use Windows and play video games.
GIMP truly is garbage but Blender is quite alright. I wish they'd actually slowly turn it into a video editor because that's one thing sorely missing on GNU slash Linux.

Hey /g/
I want to start a small PC repair business from home in my very small local town. I don't have a business space or anything, I would be going to these peoples' houses OR bringing their PC to my house, if something requires a lot of work.
What do you guys suggest for pricing? I've never actually gone to any business (e.g. Geek Squad) for PC repairs, so I have no idea what the price ranges would even be.
Should I charge per hour or per service? What if I have a crazy virus removal or something that takes 6 hours to kill?
Any advice...

i would put that up. i charged a guy £90 for a windows install because he thought i was paying a load for a windows key.

I charge like 30-50 for OS install depending on if they have disks or not for drivers.
