How could I improve?
Currently my calendar is sparse because school hasn't started yet (I'm an educator).

hello is this the cell phone desktop thread?
I'd like to mount this 55" on a swivel above my fireplace because of the odd layout of my apartment, but there are no studs in the middle. The studs are on either side and 40" between them. Could I mount a swivel on one of the studs and push the TV to the center when not in use? Aren't there mounts built for this?
So got a new laptop recently but it seems to bone itself anytime I play a game above 720p, so anyone mind recommending a decent external GPU rig and graphic card to go with it?

There aren't any viable ones at the moment, you could try creating your own:
I have this same laptop OP. Your problem is that it's defaulting to the Intel GPU. Go to Device Manager and set your GTX 960M as the default. MSI was retarded when they didn't put in a switch.
Who /assembly/ here? I've been wanting to learn it now that I'm well versed in C.
I've downloaded a few manuals but it's a pretty damn daunting language to learn. Anyone who's skilled in it have any advice where to start?
Pic related as it's the manual I'm using.
Will many of the skills learned from using those examples translate over well to programming on a modern architecture? Also is there a good centralized place to find the source from old games?
Is the Jitterbug the patrician phone?
Damn, I had no idea the Jitterbug was the size of a man's shoe.
Touchscreens are virtually useless to the elderly. Their fingers lack the fine motor skills and have very dry skin, so the screens often don't register contact.

I just installed this right now (16.04)
I start to install all the software, or stop wasting my time and switch to Debian
>Use cortana and power shell
>Does not have those windows only things
Why do normies do this?
I just bought this
Worth the money or nah?
In a fight to death, who would win?
Mint team vs. Ubuntu team vs. debian team
Also: If I use Ubuntu in the EU now, does that make me a rebel as the UK left the EU and canonical is a UK based company?
Anything better for the money than this R6400? It's $130 on Amazon right now. More than I want to spend really.
I've been using a WRT54G for >10 years and its about time to upgrade. I'm a somewhat of a "normie" that doesn't need a bunch of advanced features and I'm never more than 30' away through 2 walls max. My cable connection is only 20/1 through a SB6141.
And no, I don't want a separate router and AP.
get any asus router and put that improved merlin firmware on it, nothing else is worth it currently.
netgear are fucking trash, their only good router is the r7000 and even then its way overpriced compared to the competition. I recently upgraded from a dd-wrt e4200 to an ac-56u for 88$, it runs circles around the old one while being quite a bit cheaper.
What was the last piece of software you actually bought?
I forgot the links
Looks like the 1060 absolutely demolishes the 480 in every single way, while costing only $10 more and using less power.
Seriously, who thought AMD was gonna have the midrange market locked down?
We'll have to see what the AIB 480's bring to the table. If they can push past 1500 they could put the 1060 in a tight spot since the 1060 looks like it tops out at 2126Mhz or about that. I doubt it will clock much higher and even if it does the gains will not scale enough to warrant it.
I'm pretty good at building/fixing/repairing computers.
I want to build gaming rigs freelance.
How would I go about doing this?
Not everyone who plays games needs to go to /v/. By that logic everyone on this board who uses the headphone general threads should "go back to /mu/". Also /v/ is cancer so even people who actually SHOULD go to /v/ wont because of how garbage it is.
>fell for the Arch meme
wtf guys, this shit is unusable, I'm going back to Ubuntu
