Anyone have experience making Android games?
I want to make a clone of Megaman or some other simple 2D retro game, but with my own assets.
Recommended engines, etc.?
I like Unity as a game engine, it's nice for 2D games too. It can publish to Android/iOS amongst others.
If you were wanting to make a HTML 5 game (which also works on mobile), you might try Phaser, another good engine
Need help in a java project for college.. im running out of time and cant fail the subject again

So there are these experimental e-ink timetables at bus stops in Vienna. Screen size is ISO A4 standard (for Ameritards: approximately letter size). They say it's much cheaper in the long run to use these instead of printing out the timetables when they have to change something.
So apparently e-ink displays are pretty cheap actually. Why aren't there any cheap A4 sized e-readers then? I know about the $2,000 Sony shit, but c'mon.
I don't give a shit about bus timetables, the point is that apparently this the Wiener Linien (the company that control public transit in Vienna) thinks it's cheaper to use e-ink than regular paper. It has to be dirt fucking cheap to them, which means the technology is pretty fucking cheap. So why aren't there any non-meme sized e-readers? I don't get it.
anyone else here like these guys or have any of there stuff? or do they make meme stuff.
I'm not sure about Dell their prebuilds are getting better but their laptops seem lackluster compered to other competition and their power apators on the older models fail too much.
Other than that no real issues generally. I still treat them like a newbie

>install windows 7 in EFI mode

I do not frequent /g/ but even with I have seen multiple of versions of this thread here, but I can't seem to find any more info.
Lets say, I want to generate every 5x5, 2 color image. This will be 2^25 or 33,554,432.
According to http://jan.ucc.nau.edu/lrm22/pixels2bytes/calculator.htm
A 1 bit color depth with a resolution of 5x5 will have a file size of 3.125 bytes. That means that the total size of these images will only be 104,857,600 bytes, or in better terms 104.8576 mb.
So, the question, how would I do this?
I have basic experience in java...

you realise the retro thinkpad that everbody on /g/ will buy will be the last thinkpad right?
to counteract this, I propose all thinkpadfags of /g/ unite and we make them do a new retro version of the 701c with mech keyboard
Only the best battlestations in this thread.
Why aren't you using Gnome 3.20 /g/?
