What is /g/'s opinion on the Razer BlackWidow Chroma? Is it a good keyboard or meme trash?
I want a mechanical keyboard with backlighting that I can customize. A few macros would be nice too.
They use what's essentially a softer blue, the rage is mostly from people justifying their $160 Shine purchase, but Razer has bad QC with anything that isn't one of their mice, so LED's tend to die after a while
If you need to replace your old rubber G-series Logitech, and you don't need anything radical or pricey, and think that you'll be vidya'ing more than typing, then go for it
>>54548711
Why don't you look at the XTi's? (coolermaster)
I owned a blackwidow tournament stealth (shitty orange switches), the shitty chink switches started to fucking die in like 4 months of usage. i don't know if the build quality is any better with the greens, i would highly recommend avoiding anything fucking razer though.
Does anyone have the original of this?

Hey guys, I am looking to replace my AMD A10. I got myself an R9 380 because my GTX 560 was going out. Obviously having the GPU is counter productive.
Is the AMD FX 8350 still one of the better AMD CPUs? I know Zen is around the corner but I don't want to spend a bunch on a new CPU.
Suggestions?
inb4 intel. I really don't think that little extra edge in performance (in only a few cases) is worth the extra $200+.
as an owner of an overclocked 8320 it's hard to recommend because it's so old .
i love mine though
>>54548185
Yeah, the age is really the only thing I am worried about.
>>54548131
>AMD FX 8350
>Intel i7 6700k
Intel CPUs get 3-5% better every generation.
If you wait for Zen you can use it atleast 6-8 years.
Wait for AMD Zen. It will be cheap.

The sad thing is Chrome is a bigger memory hog
>>54548021
>chrome is a bigger memory hog
It appears it isn't any more
>inb4 botnet
Sadly there aren't any good browsers any more.
Actual question: why does that happen? For what possible purpose could the program need to use so much memory for literally nothing?
>>54548230
Now try summing up the memory usage of all those subprocesses.
Is the zowie fk still considered one of the best mice to buy? I'm looking to buy a new mouse with high dpi and the only thing I have going is this old infographic from like 2010 or something.
Apparently I have several of these infographics, commencing dump.
Making a new thread because this isn't against the rules and it's on topic.
Why do other operating systems not look as good as OS X?

>menu bar takes up double the vertical space of a Windows one, only has 6 controls
>Round buttons, like they're intentionally designed to be hard-to-click-on
>incredible waste of space margins on all sides of the UI form
>"8 GB Installed" image and text label to its right horribly out of alignment with each other and the parent form
>>54547893
How can the menu bar take more space when it's universal between applications?

What is a lightweight linux os? It has to be able to run on a machine with half a gig of vram and 2 gigs of ddr2 ram, along with a core 2 duo. Should be able to run well, without fucking lagging to shite.
Any suggestions?

Does your monitor produce artifacts when you move the attached picture around with the zoom set at 100%?

i'm using a W5000 firepro and i get a weird flicker when i scroll up and down
>>54547688
When I have it at full resolution I get lines to the side of my screen where the pink is. I took a terminal window and put it where the lines are and the lines are still there, so it is something with how the display is showing it, not the OS or browser. That is odd. I am using a Dell 3007WFP. It reminds me of this:

How much is your internet plan? Pic related is the typical 'economy' plan in Canada.

€ 50/month (Holland)
Also includes TV/phone but nobody cares about that. I'm pretty happy about the state of Internet connection in the Netherlands. Hopefully the EU doesn't fuck this up for us.

amazon sent me 10 of these instead of 1, how often do they mess up the orders in favor of the customer?

I got 2 copies of effective c++ from Amazon once
once ordered 15 pounds of coal and received several large boxes full of it
i think it ended up being like 300 pounds of coal
i just wanted to power my tiny trains
Ordered a $750 Note 2 + $120 M50 headphones back in 2012 and they sent me duplicates. Both packages had the same tracking number and I remember one of the packages were opened, probably by the UPS guy. Luckily the ups guy was probably too lazy to reject the and just went with it.
