>Make a thread about games on Linux
We have a quake clone guys,it's fun!
Why is Linux so irrelevant in the personal PC space? We'd have to force school children and business suits to drink this shit in order for people to even use it at home or at least pray for MS to fuck everyone soooooo hard that everyone switches in mass.
Muh gaems work just fine on Linux. Not sure What you're on about.
How does Microsoft do it?How does apple do it?Is it because there's too many diistros and people go so nuts with choice that it works against the OS growing support for the personal space? Is it that that the terminal is probably the one of the biggest reasons no one wants to mess with the OS because of how important it is with being about to break something so easily? The GUI(s)?

This thread was created to prevent anons from spamming new threads, for technology questions they have.
If you are that person, post your simple/small/stupid questions here.
Don't bump. This is a slow board, and will continue to be. Wait for an answer or google it.
If you see other anons posting questions outside this thread, ignore or redirect them here.
Use >>>/g/sqt as a link to find the sqt thread.
if you want to be a good whitehat, do you need to know pretty much everything about the most commonly used programming languages?
or do you just need to use the most recent exploit kits and pretend to be a 1337 hacker along the way?
Get the fuck in here already, what kinds of pens do you like to use and for what reason?
The cheap and disposable ones because as an EMS i use my pen for work and not pretending to be important
Is anybody working on a way to upload information into the brain? I really like to read and study but i think it would be better to just upload the information into the brain and bam now you now everything about a certain topic
Yes, progress is slow though.
Forewarning: this isn't the magic "now I know it" that everyone is hoping for.
Nokia announced on Wednesday that a newly-established, independent firm called HMD will begin offering Nokia-branded basic and smartphones as well as tablets. The new devices will be based on the Android operating system.
The new firm will be headed by former Nokia executive Arto Nummela. Since Nokia sold its phone business to Microsoft about two years ago, he's been overseeing their mobile business in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
HMD Global is a new company formed in Finland specifically for the purpose of reconstituting local Nokia engineering and design talent by a long time Nokia exec. They could have easily gone to China and been "run of the mill" but they decided to stay in Finland.
AKA, convenience rollup update up to April 2016, microsoft released a big update containing all the patches since 2011 up to April 2016.
You only need this update beforehand https://support.microsoft.com/kb/3020369
Good if you have a fresh install
Great if you slipstream these it to your Windows 7 SP1 ISO.
Who here has made the switch from Android to phone or vice versa? How was it? I'm thinking in going to finally move from Android to iphone. Lagdroid is ridiculous
I switched from iPhone 4s to a Nexus 4 then back from a One m8 to iPhone 6s.
I miss android. iOS is very boring to me. The main advantage is when you pull out your iPhone in public people regard you as a civilized human being vs some kind of mongrel.
Following android used to be like a hobby of mine but since I got the iphone 6+ I just don't have to worry about it anymore. I think something about the camera processing fucks up the quality on snapchat and instagram for android users. That's pretty much it. I miss the storage space.

There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:
0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)
3) Go balls...

on GNOME, how can I switch around one Workspace for another without having to move the windows one by one?
Say, I have programs A B on W1, C on W2, and D on W3. I want C to be W3 and D to be W2
I have to use Packet Tracer on Debian testing. PT wants libssl1.0.0 and libcrypto1.0.0, but Debian testing only has libssl1.0.2 and whichever version of libcrypto.
Symlinking the newer libs to trick the program doesn't work, it throwsversion 'OPENSSL_1.0.0' not found (required by ./PacketTracer6)
So i LD_PRELOADed the older libs but i get a segmentation fault. Is there anything else i can try besides insulting Cisco for making shit software?
If requesting purchasing advice, please provide your country and what carrier you will be using it with, along with wanted features, budget and size.
