I need some advice for buying last year flagship mobiles (2015).
Things I need in phone:
Big, good screen, good battery. nice design and interface.
Good music reproduction, headphones.
And to be reliable while multitasking, I am "fast" user.
Smooth and nice while using it.
Also SD slot, Dual sim and premium materials/nice feeling in hand.
Price is big deal, I know "buy S7 Edge" would be solution but here are phones that I can afford;
1) LG G4 Dual sim Black Leather - 315Euro's
2) Sony Z3 ili Z3+Dual Sim ...

Fuck off to spg.
Saged because you don't deserve a bump for being this retarded.
Are there any modern laptop that can have every skngle part of them changed with ease, like the t420?
I mean it does not have to lenovo but I really liked that I could change stuff as esdy as memory and screen to shit like processor and motherboard easy.
Are laptops not built like this anymore? I just want to spice things up rather than buying another t420, since my current one's case is all sorts of fucked.
>>54608895
Most ThinkPads still are, with exceptions of XXXs, Carbon, and other slimline devices.
Nope none are "easy" I had the T400 and it wasn't andy harder to replace than any other modern computer(high end) I think that the T400 and T420 are probably about the same build wise, if so it's a time consuming one, same with the W510 Thinkpad and the 13" (non-retina) MBP. The think pads are easier if you are someone who needs accesses to the keyboard often. on the MPB it's 10 philips to remove the base and change the RAM, 4 more to change the HDD and battery, then I don't remember how many probably about 10 to remove the mobo. I don't...

No
So when is this shit getting a price drop? The new line of cards for announced and then nothing?
>>54608888
When the 1080 is actually about to go on sale, and stores are clearing stock to make space for the new cards.
Business as usual.
it already got a price-drop.
You literally fucked up. (It's back at $659.)
I won't drop by much
NEET studying for CCNA. It's taking me forever. It's not particularly difficult, but I am making incremental progress because I cant stay to a routine. I just randomly have a burst of energy and study and then I go for a week or month without doing anything.
Sounds like you really don't want that CCNA then
Discipline OP. You have to force yourself to get it done every day before you start doing things for fun.
Did you schedule the test? If not, you should. Having a deadline helps motivation.
Why is scrolling with a mouse so much shittier on OSX than on windows? Is there any way I can make the mouse wheel scrolling identical to windows? Its incredibly annoying
>>54608561
Nope, get OSX only works good with trackpads.
Macs are web browsing appliances, not stuff you do work on.
>>54608561
Buy a Magic Mouse or a Magic Trackpad. Scroll wheels are obsolete
>>54608561

Innovation is dead
>>54608540
Retarded funky designs =/= innovation

How is any of that shit innovative?
They're just a bunch of flimsy phone designs.

And iPhone is so much better?
Hey /g/, my friend and I are trying to hook up this:
http://www.criterioncellular.com/antennas/wifi-ism-safety-band/24ghz_grid.html
To a linksys wrt54gs that we bought at goodwill. We stripped the antenna wire and alligator clipped it to the input wire on the antenna. We also tried attaching it directly to the circuit board. Unfortunately there is no noticeable difference when it is attached or detached. Any idea what we need to do differently or change?
>>54608370
dont do this itll fry your brain
Pics of antenna connection? Your best bet would be to add SMA connectors to the end of the coax and the antenna. That antenna is highly directional, which means that in most cases, you need to be within 7.5 degrees of the antenna's front to pick up a signal. It's really meant for longer range microwave links and not access point use.

Here's the end of the parabolic antenna. We alligator clipped this to the board on the router with no results. We had standing directly in front of the dish compared to on the sides, but it didn't seem to effect the connection at all.

>if i buy 1000w psupply and my hardware needs just 600w to run will i pay double for consumed electricity
No idiot.
>>54608324
Ok ty
you will use more than 600w.
Most PSUs run poor at 50% load.
Is this a good book?
>>54608074
Yes I used the first edition to learn programming. Its not easy though.
>>54608103
I don't want easy, I want well written, well constructed instruction that teaches fundamentals and good practices. If I wanted easy, I'd use python.
>>54608187
Its a good book for you then. A lot of what I've learned from it helped me when I moved on to other things. It has some cool stuff like data structures and parsing that other beginner books dont have.
ITT we make /g/ approved insults. I'll start.
If you were a method in C, you would be fgets. Get it? Because it sounds like "faggot."
I told this one to my CS professor. Given the look on his face, I burned him pretty bad.

Is going into IT/Programming worth it anymore?
Is age discrimination a huge thing? Pajeets taking all the jobs? Can you get a job in software development at 50+?
personally i'm planning on coding as my senior/semi-retired/DGAF career
seems like it's not that hard to get remote work if you're halfway decent
facebook isn't going to give you an internship but there's still lots of demand out there
just do machine learning and big data, seems like they'd hire a monkey if the monkey could do hadoop
nope. Pajeets and AI will take care of it
Be a dishwasher instead
>>54607481
I work as a sys admin, and I find it to be a good career.
I'm only 22 so I can't say much to age discrimination, but I can say the lower level work is starting to be outsourced.
If yiu are genuinely good at what you do there will always be a job for you.
