I'm running Windows 7.
Is there a way to patch or update my kernel to the Windows 10 version without upgrading the entire OS?
>>54611073
No, and that would be stupid anyway.
>>54611073
>Is there a way to patch or update my kernel to the Windows 10 version without upgrading the entire OS?
Nope, it's not GNU/Linux
Sorry :^(
>>54611114
Can't I just drag and drop it into the system32/ syswow64 folder?
Cyberpunk will never happen in the West because nobody knows how to build and fix things anymore.
All useful technology is expensive and all the knowledge on how to build and fix them has been outsourced.
Western cultures also can't cope with the technological and social chaos that is already the norm in other cultures.
>>54611072
well we have the Orwellian dystopia part pretty much figured out, now we just need to add the cyberpunk part
>>54611072
sage for not technology.
None of you are actually interested in fixing the problems of the world, You just want to like inside the worlds you see in dystopia movies because they look A T H E I S T I C .

>"sup /g/ should I buy a [Nvidia GPU]?"
It's time to stop responding to these posters. Nvidia is anti-technology and so are the people that buy their hardware.
>>54611031
Why the hell do care? Beside MUH GAYMES then what's the point?
>>54611031
Yeah how dare people discuss GPUs on /g/, clearly such discussion belongs on /tv/

For some reason I prefer slim laptop-style keyboards over mechanical ones. Why are mechanical keyboards better in your opinion?
I have this one and im happy http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Slim-Wired-Keyboard-K72357USA/dp/B00426HI8U%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q%26tag%3Dduckduckgo-d-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00426HI8U
They're not. Dipshits like them because they're loud and obnoxious.
>>54610983
My cherry reds really aren't loud at all. You're thinking of blue switches.
>>54610965
I like mine. It just feels better, there no resistance when I press the keys and they're much more sensitive.
>>54611004
They feel sluggish to me. Slim keyboards do require force but it feels snappy for me. I also don't like pressing down deep.
i know it should have happened all ready but maby its a hard sell i give it 5 years 10 at most
Honestly I don't think it ever will. Cpu efficiency and thermals will get better, negating the need for water cooling. It'll always be an enthusiast thing.

You're essentially eating sand if you actually ate the silica gel. It's non-toxic and often comes with electronics and sometimes food to absorb moisture. It's not food. Do you eat rocks? It won't kill you but just don't do it. That would be dumb. Are you dumb?
Latest Polaris Speculations are out.
Will Polaris Crush or will AMD be Crush?

probably will flop because AMD hasnt shilled enough of it while NVIDIA shilled it everywhere

This specific scenario did not occur.
Not only is it uncommon but normies don't normally call it "Gnu/Linux", in fact that's incredibly uncommon and you're insinuating the "new guy" is some sort of autist from /g/ and trying to get people to relate to it.
http://www.theverge.com/2016/5/18/11699060/apple-india-app-accelerator-bengaluru
>After a visit to China earlier in the week, Apple CEO Tim Cook's next stop is India, an increasingly important market for the company. Apple has just announced a iOS design and development accelerator to open in Bangalore (officially known as Bengaluru), considered the main hub of the country's startup scene with over one million people working in the local tech sector. The center will provide support to local app developers and help improve their iOS software,...

What the fuck, /g/.
I did not give my computer any indication to upgrade to Windows 10, ever. It was playing a fucking song on vocaroo, and I walk away to make pasta, come back and see this shit.
Is this a fucking forced update or some shit? I do not fucking want to downgrade to Windows 10.

Is it too late to be save my files? Am I completely fucked?
We often talk about amd vs nvidia, mac vs pc, but how about we talk about routers?
Whats your go to router brand and which is the one you're currently using?
Mines pic related.
Some $15 Walmart Belkin. My connection is just as fast as plugging directly into the router so I call it good.
>>54610356
I use an aironet 1602e for wireless bridging, and a Shuttle Celeron running CentOS 6.x for routing/firewall/etc.
OpenWrt/DD-WRT/etc., are neat, but they always have weird bugs and limitations, and the QC is never as good, because the universe of consumer router equipment is enormous.

>fall for the freetard meme

Looking at buying a sound system for my house, and the conclusion I've reached is
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable -$449
Rotel RA-12 Integrated Amplifier -$1000
Bowers & Wilkins 685 series 2 Bookshelf Speakers -$835
This is all in AUD, and these products, especially the bookshelf speakers are significantly reduced from the standard retail price thanks to end of financial year sales
>>54610330
Forgot to mention the main reason for posting in the OP, is this setup any good? Are there other things in a similar price range I should consider?
>>54610330
maybe look into the JBL LSR305s for your speakers, they're powered monitors so a bit different from the ones you posted but i know people who have them and have heard nothing but good things.
