I'd im not a big fanboy but it seems cool to be honest.
The device itself looks whacky though. I know its not really a consumer model.
It would seem cool to use if there's proper support for it.

From what I've read, everything save for the FoV and weight are great, and even then those issues aren't that big. I wouldn't consider buying one for myself until there's a decent content library and some competition established, but if you're a developer who can afford it you should pick it up.

the virtual desktop stuff seems pretty cool if you could take it anywhere in the house to more comfortable places. I hope on the consumer models that battery lasts long and looks better than this one.
Let's be honest, even though the price is still ridiculous, they made a really great keyboard this time

So I'm coding this website and I've made the navbar disappear as I scroll down and appear again as I scroll up, but I also want it to appear as the mouse pointer approaches. You can take Mark's Newson website as an example.
I know it has to do with mouseenter() and mouseleave() but I can't get it to work.

I've been getting popups, asking me to install Windows 10 for months and I've always ignored them because of all the bad things I've heard about it.
When I woke up this morning, I saw that it had installed it itself, without my permission and I had to set it up. It wouldn't let me cancel or go back, it was too late. So now I just have Windows 10, thanks to the dickholes at Microsoft, despite the fact I clearly did not want it.
Am I fucked?
>>54635303
You're fucked bro. Now Microsoft can see all those gigabytes of loli doujins you've downloaded.
i tried installing win 10 but the update broke and reverted back to 8.1, dont know if i should be glad or mad

Try to buy tier 1/2.
Try to avoid tier 3.
Anything below 3 is dangerous

is the apple meme over?
Cancer randomly killing another cancer is nothing to celebrate.
No. Apple is still ridiculously profitable and is still hugely popular while Chromebook makers barely profit at all with those $200 machines. The volume does not speak much.

Share your eGPU experiences.
I'm about to buy an adapter for my T420 but before throwing my money at chinks i would like to know if it's worth it.
>>54634979
I bought the generation before that one for 50$. I ordered the expresscard one and got the pci express instead. Would recommend if you know for sure your laptop works for it as I tried it on two different ones and only one worked.
>>54635034
i'm sure my laptop model is compatible, someone on the product review even said it's literally plug and play if you configure preinstall the gpu drivers.
How was your experience once you made it work?
Thought about buying a egpu but i decided to back out when I realized that you needed a separate external monitor.
Gonna order some parts today.
Have around $700 USD
What CPU should I get? I am either going for a i7 6700k or a 6600k.
What should I do /g/?
>>54637099
If those processors are for video games then go right ahead
>>54637153
Well maybe, I don't game much anymore, I just want something good enough for anything that i throw at it, rendering, editing, and etc.
I have the I7-4930k pcu. problem is I do not know what processor I want to upgrade to. 2011 socket type motherboards cost so much and I really want a smaller build, maybe micro-atx.
what would be the obvious upgrade from this older generation card.
>>54634828
Why the fuck do you want to upgrade your processor?
>>54634828
there's no upgrade for your processor at the moment, what's the reason behind you wanting an upgrade? retarded /v/ gaymur?
They have 8 core xeons for that socket on that for around 80

murphy78 took the time again to remove all the bullshit from 7 updates this month. So you should look for that.
Is there anything more infuriating for laptop owners with Nvidia GPU's than the bullshit Opitmus garbage? Also it seems like Nvidia is forcing this shit on all mobile GPU's. In theory it's ok except in practice many programs will still refuse to recognize the Nvidia GPU despite going through the control panel.
Why do you want a laptop with a discrete GPU anyway?
Also the idea is good (I don't need thumbnails rendered on the GPU), just poorly implemented. You should have used switchable graphics with AMD. Optimus was a godsend.
I have no idea what this shit is.
Can you explain it
>>54635097
Same. Seems like every day I learn about some new Nvidia technology add-on.
What does G think of the HP Spectre 13?
What I like so far

>Perfect resolution for size (1080p 13,3"), not 3200xwhatever bullshit which is just a pain in the ass with windows and in that size more of a disadvandage anyway (needs more power, improvements barely visible)
