I rarely need to print at home, but I do need to occasionally. What's my best bet for a printer that's inexpensive?
I have a Pixus 3650 and it is alright, though not very clear on how to setup onto a wireless network. Currently I am self refilling the cartridges even though the ink quality isn't quite the same, the refills are like $1 and even though I need to drill a hole in the cartridges to refill them I am printing a fair amount so I need the money saving.
Since that's a canon, let me just say this
I got a Canon printer/scanner at work for like $40. To replace both ink cartridges it costs more than the printer did. If you're buying cheap, remember that you're also buying disposable.
Which browser+search engine+extension combo?
FF/Chromium + DuckDuckGo + and adblocker?
Teach me, /g/
You can use both Firefox & Chrome(ium) if you tweak them properly.
If still you don't trust them you can use midori, seamonkey , Palemoon. Pretty much any other browser is shit regarding performance & privacy (not to mention that faggotry shit called vivaldi)
Duckduckgo is fine however the results need to be filtered more properly, most of them are not 100% relevant to the search; Startpage is a better google and another option is qrobe.it
For extentions, ublock origin is still...

Good ISP, Secure DNS, own VPS, Firefox+(Disconnect+Decentraleyes+uBlock Origin+HTTPS everywhere+self destructing cookies+random agent spoofer) and DNSCrypt is a good combination. Use a VPN.

What are you working on, /g/?
Rank programming and scripting languages into what tiers they are.
There's only one God Tier language: C
Then huge power gap.
Then there's most other languages.
Then theres another huge power gap.
Then theres functional programming.
Then there's a very thin gap.
Then there's feral animals.
Were these made to be some sort of torture device?
bought this off of somebody from facebook for $60.
Im computer-retarded so im not sure what any of this means, but im pretty sure i got a good ass deal.
I'm talking combination of resolution, response time, panel, etc.
What are the best ways to make GUI programs for Python, Java, and C/C++ on Linux?
Programming tools in Linux are a whole new ballpark for me and I don't know what's good or not. On Windows I only ever made .NET GUIs. I think it's time I grow my skillset a little and extend GUI creating to other languages.
For Java I have Intellij but the GUI maker on that is kind of a pain in my ass.
Other than that though I don't know.
I just bought a i5-2500k, what motherboard do you recommend within a £40 budget?
Post yours, rate mine
you know the drill :^)

Photo is out of date, I attached a 320 gb harddrive (for images) to the side of my case using an erector set and a cassette case. And am working on adding another screen.
What's the best display technology and why is it CRT?
Will vulkan crush the closed directx 12, or it will just die while devs will be forced to give their freedom in order to use directx?
Vulkan is technology
i am fraid if vulkan would be great because the industrial spying Ms vould du someting
Android will use it for system graphics, so that gives it some poosh.
Will it win? In the long run yes, because mobile will kill everything. Give it a couple years and mobile power efficiency will rival raw power of desktop graphics due to market forces.
Microsoft is going mobile too, but on the server side instead of the terminal side.
When did you realize girls do code?
When did you realize that png is better than gif?
What did you make with your Raspberry Pi, lads?
A quadrocopter? Night vision goggles? Portable emulator? Or did you just put it in a draw never to be seen again?
is there a faster card than the 295X2? Will there be one this year?
I remember seeing announcement posts about a 395X2 in December 2015 but nothing ever came of it. I certainly can't find any for sale.
I am looking to build a quad-GPU build with maximum outright performance for a client. Money is essentially no object.
I have researched that card
benchmarks appear to say it is slower?
Most of the sites I've read that prefer it, say because of lower power draw and quiet. But this will already be a dual-psu build, power draw is not an issue, as in the OP I'm looking for maximum outright performance (in a desktop case)
